Prom Dresses? Shoes? Hair styles?

Ok. Prom is in 2008, but I want to be ready.

I want to wear some dress but with flats because i hate heels. Every dress I see online is meant to be with heels. Is there any dreses that would look good with flats. And also my hair is very curly and I dont know if I should blow it out...

Please provide me with websites...

Can one look professional when their hair is long, curly and blond? I am earthy, hippie type. Need h

Hi. I have very long curly hair. My hair looks like it's a relaxed spiral perm. I turn a lot of heads because of how my hair looks. I am told all the time how pretty it is, I think it matches me perfectly. My personality is very feminine, and I am very earthy. I love earth tones and don't like to wear makeup very much. However, when I go to a store to find business clothes, all the suits are tailored for girls with short hairstyles, clean cuts, crisp looks. I cannot pull that off, not with my hippie type aura. I definately will not cut my hair, I am looking for a style of clothing that will compliment my natural beauty, tones that are soft, and earthy. I want to look professional, but I do not want to look like a 'suit'. I'm having a hard time finding clothing for work based on the type of person I am. I am most comfortable in cottons, loose clothing and sandles. However, I need to go a bit more professional. Any ideas would be helpful. Web links or such. Thanks so much.

Can one look professional when their hair is long, curly and blond? I am earthy, hippie type. Need help.?

first off, designer don't make outfits for a specific hair style. it's for a specific body type.

i think you just have'nt found an outfit that you like.

i have long curly hair too and dont wear makeup but im very feminine and i feel competely fine in wearing business clothes because its all about how you feel and present yourself.

be confindent and anything should look decent on anyone.

plus they have earthy tone business suits, or just nice khaki pants with a white shirt and jacket with flats or heels.

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

I am mixed with black %26amp; asian, and I have pretty thick hair. I've been researching products to use on my hair. Currently I'm using Suave Healthy Curls shampoo and Pantene ProV Hydrating Curls conditionor. I also use Sunsilk Frizz Ease (for curls%26amp;waves) and Tresseme (sp) Curl Care Mousse. All works pretty well, but it doesn't last through the day (well, the mousse works really well, but I don't know if I should use it daily).. and I can't really do any cute curly hairstyles. I would like something that could bring out my curls more (instead of just after I wash my hair) and last at least 8 hours. Also, maybe something to smooth my hair out so it won't be so poofy %26amp; I could wear it down. And if you have any tips or hair styles, that would be nice too. Sorry if i'm asking a lot, but I would really appericiate the help! :]

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

First get long layers put in your hair, second DON'T brush your hair (I know it sounds weird, but it breaks apart the ringlets) third use mouse and scrunch hair, lastly use pump spray after hair is dry. Good luck.

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

Garnier Fructis Curl Control

Aveda Curl Control

both works really well on curly hair and helps any style u have.

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

well there is this stuff called motions for kids.. well my hair gets pretty poufy and frizzy and thats the only stuff that works.... you can try using that and also herbal essences set me up mousse with a blow dryer and a finger diffuser attachment. wearing yout hair in a ponytail but not pulled straight to your head.. some bumps are okay..makes it look more natural and when you wear your hair down.. try a small zig-zag pattern split but not down the middle maybe on the side.. thats if your not using accessories :) hope i helped...oh and yes you can use that everyday and if i didnt help... you can ask your local beautician for some advice. =]

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

I had the same problem. first, dont use a different brand of shampoo and conditioner. keep products to one or two products. It helps to get products that are good for daily use because you should only shampoo every other day. I use garnier fructis sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner. I also use the Garnier Fructis leave in conditioner. (This product is good for everyday use.) That helps with poofiness. To help frizz I use BioSilk smoothing creme. Those products leave your hair light yet smooth. I would suggest not using frizz Ease. When i used that line of products it made my hair so greasy you had to wash it again. Once you find the brands that work best for you stick to it. It is not good for your hair to change products all the time. I hope this helped!

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

I could write a book about curly hair.

Don't wash it everyday. It will dry it out and make it look super frizzy. Condition it in between washes. Also I know it sounds weird but brush your hair in the shower while its full of conditioner to get the tangles out....thats the only time I brush my hair, you don't need a pick or any of that stuff. It makes it painless instead of picking through a mane of unruly curls.

Throw your blow dryer away. Your hair will look 100% better if you can air dry it. If you don't have time to air dry it make sure you don't over dry it... leave it a little damp.

Try not to touch it at all.. the more its touched the worse it looks.

I use Nexxus hair lotion. It cost more than the other stuff but it goes a long way and it works better than any mousse gel or hair spray. Also doesn't leave as much build up. Make sure you get the ends of the hair because thats where it frizzes the worst.

As the day goes if it gets a little frizzy all you have to do is run some water through it with your hands and the product will set in again.

Curly hair is hard work but its worth it.

Don't hide your curls, leave your hair down but

Its also really easy to toss up in messy styles and have it look stunning.

I work in public and all day long people stop me to compliment my hair.

Good luck.

John Frieda Traumlocken, Revlon Scrunch or Paul Mitchell`s products

Curly Hair and bangs?

I have very thick long CURLY hair. I want bangs but i dont want to look dumb because they might curl up...is there a way it could look cute? Can you post pics of cute hair styles like that?? HELP :)

Curly Hair and bangs?

I am a hair dresser and one option is to get your bands chemically straightened an leave the rest of your hair curly. That will be very pretty and it won't curl back up if you sweat or swim or anything. You can purchase a hair magazine look for the type of bangs you want and then take it to the salon with you. You may want to ask the salon if they can do what you want when you make the appointment. Hope this helps!

Curly Hair and bangs?

you can just straighten them everyday %26amp; cake on the hairspray so they dont curl up or anything

you could even chemically straighten jsut your bangs

as for the type of bangs, side bangs are in right now %26amp; they are pretty rad too, idk wha tyou look like.. but side bangs might be the way to go :D

Curly Hair and bangs?

I have a friend who has the same problem you have with her hair curling up. The only way the bang would look good is if you relax it or than that you just might look dumb!!

Curly Hair and bangs?

You could try curly hair with side bangs like this.

If it's really really curly, like corkscrews, cut them short and thick and straight across. Like Poison Ivy:

Hairstyles With Bangs

Curly Hair and bangs?

As a curly myself I understand wanting those cute bangs. The aren't so cute though a lot of the time and they might take forever to grow back. Lots of hairdressers cut them too short not allowing for them to shrink up into curls. I think you are either going to have to straighten the bangs(which can really cause some damage to the hair if you are not careful) or wear them like Poison Ivy- curly. Bangs have caused me lots of problems. They always look better in my imagination than on my head. If you have a good salon to go to be brave. Otherwise buy a new outfit or shoes. Other ways to look cute without having to cut the curls.

I have got curly and wavvy hair very unmanageable.my face cut is heart shaped which hair cut wouldbe

I think a mullet would be quite becoming on you. It is hard to beat business on top and party in the back. Good Luck!

I have got curly and wavvy hair very unmanageable.my face cut is heart shaped which hair cut wouldbe suited?

short

I have got curly and wavvy hair very unmanageable.my face cut is heart shaped which hair cut wouldbe suited?

Try a short style that's designed to look touseled - that's what I do, and the messier my hair is, the better it looks. I usually have it razor-cut, because it seems that the razor allows the hairstyle to work with the natural curl.

How do you style a two year olds curly hair?

Easy hair styles???????

Easy hair styles???????

*messy bun, its pretty simple--

when you use your scrunchie or rubberband, how many times do you tie it around your hair? Using the example of three...

Tie it twice, the the third time only pull it through half way.

*~x~*

Ponytail---several types, like...

high

low

side

*~x~*

2 Braids---part your hair down the middle. For each section, seperate hair into three parts and braid.

*~x~*

Leave it Down--i like this look :)

*~x~*

Straighten it--get a good flat iron, depending on how much money you can spend...

*~x~*

take a day to experiment if you want, you will get a lot of good answers!

Easy hair styles???????

the ponytail will always be hot

Easy hair styles???????

If your hair is long enough, try this:

1) pull your hair back, like you were going to make a ponytail

2) wrap it around the base of the tail (like a bun)

3) use a pair of hair sticks to secure it (in a pinch you can use a pencil)

--It'll kind of fall out a little, but it'll look really cute and should work with your hair. Mine is really fine and slides out of everything I've tried except for this.

Would this hair style be good for curly hair too...?

do you mean if you kept your hair curly? no sorry. but it would look awful. but im sure you could straighten your hair to look like that. its a cute style. tres chic :)

Would this hair style be good for curly hair too...?

i dont think you would be able to see all of the styling if your hair were curly but if you get it cut like that and straighten it every now and then it would look cool

Would this hair style be good for curly hair too...?

no, your hair would have to be straight at all times, otherwise it would look very very bad. no matter what people tell you it would look ridiculous. but it's a very cute cut.

Would this hair style be good for curly hair too...?

i dont think it would. Mabey if you straighten your hair everyday with that style, thats what i do with my hair cause mines really curly.

Would this hair style be good for curly hair too...?

YES, try using a NICE FLAT IRON that will straighten out any CURLS!!!!

Would this hair style be good for curly hair too...?

Sorry, but no, it would give the look of, punk rocker w/ afro

Would this hair style be good for curly hair too...?

No because with curly hair you can't really see layers, sorry.

How to get curly hair wavy?

http://img2.timeinc.net/instyle/images/2...

my hair is shorter than that (just by a bit) and pretty curly. how can i get this style? i have tried the whole salt spray thing but it kinda didnt work but if you have tisp for me for that tell meplaeasse

How to get curly hair wavy?

Sigh, it won't be easy. You could try a body wave, but that's expensive. Here's what I'd say. Wash your hair, blow-dry it as straight as possible, then straighten it. Once you do that, either set your hair in rollers OR twirl it around a one inch barrel curling iron, somewhat little sections at a time. Of course, try using some kind of mousse or setting spray while your hair's wet or before you style. Then use hairspray if it falls out.

Trying to go from super curly directly to wavy is usually a mess.

How to get curly hair wavyy???

Well, there are a number of things that you could do. You could use some gels/creams/sprays that give your hair that relaxed look (Garnier Fructis and Bed Head have a great line of these products). Also, you could add soft curls to your hair (with curling iron or curlers). Last, you could apply a shampoo/conditioner that makes your hair get relaxed-looking curls. (Again, I reccomend Garnier Fructis products or Herbal Essences). Fourtunately for me, my hair does this naturally! Hope I helped! :)

How to get curly hair wavyy???

I did it for my friend once and it looked alot like that, she has straight hair and i curled it with a straightener, I think maybe if u straighten it and then try to curl it, it could come out like that, or since its curly straighten it abit so the curls arnt so curly, HOPE IT HELPED

How to get curly hair wavyy???

i'll explain step by step [this works for me]

1.wash hair

2.dry hair

3.straighten

4.apply antisnap gel/cream

5.curl with curling iron.

6.moisturing gel for hair.

Yeah, it's a lot, but it totally works.

hope that helps.

How to get curly hair wavyy???

for a night? wash and blow it out straight with a gel or mousse. *or cream if its frizzes and is dry* use thermal protecting spray and hairspray and use a big curling iron (1 1/4 or 1 1/2) in sections. Pull it out sideways and hold the iron vertically and curl away from your face. once completely done, mist with flexible hold spray, break them up with your fingers and you're done! happy hairstyling

How to get curly hair wavyy???

Okay I have curly hair too and I can easily get my hair like that. I rub some hair balm through my hair then put it in a braid and take it out after an hour. The trick is not to use too much balm otherwise the style goes flat after an hour.

I have very curly hair i need help plzz?

ok i have very curly hair like if i let it grow out it almost goes into an afro and looks terrible and everyone thinks im trying to be black(im white) it is a pain in my *** so i keep it like buzzed then grow it out for a month then it starts to get poofy lol and a lil curly

is there any thing i can do with my hair like any hair styles or anything at all?,, i wear AE,Hollister stuff like that. any ideas???

I'm in 9th grade

I have very curly hair i need help plzz?

Here's the secret...

Before you get out of the shower and turn the water off you first have to:

1. Turn the water on cold and rinse your hair with cold water to close the cuticles. Opened cuticles are the start of frizzy hair.

2. While your hair is soaking wet. Put in 2 quarters worth of "Dare2Be" Glued styling gel. It's in a yellow tube and can be found at Walmart. Do NOT use your fingers to separate your hair like a pick. Separate sections of hair while wet and put in the gel.

3. Start scrunching your curls like no tomorrow while your hair is SOAKING wet. If the excess water is flowing through your fingers, you are on your way! The excess water running through your hair will help the gel get to every strand.

4. Towel dry your hair. If you must use a hair dryer make sure to use a diffuser.

5. Don't wash your hair everyday.

I can go three days with out washing my hair and no one can tell the difference.

Good luck my fellow curly locks!

Amy D

p.s. also try pantene- Pro-V for curley hair shampoo %26amp; conditioner!

I have very curly hair i need help plzz?

Try using a leave-in conditioner on your hair, this may help tame the frizz and define the curls. I use Infusium 23, and it makes a huge difference on my naturally curly hair. Without it, I can look very bride of frankenstein. Also, I'd recommend sucking it up and growing it out, even if it means enduring some awkward phases. The weight will help keep it down.

I have very curly hair i need help plzz?

lol your hair type does not depend on your race. not only black people have curly hair.there's so many types of curls. but to reduce frizz and define your curls just use a curl enhancer/definer try giovanni's direct leave in or frizz serum it work wonders...if none of that works you can simply use conditioner and comb your hair down in the shower and when you get out don't touch it simply let it air dry.

Cute, easy hair styles?

Im in high school right now and im scrunched on time in the morning to get my hair done. Are there any cute, easy hairstyles i can do to make up for the time? I have chestnut/copper hair, thick, wavy/curly, layered, 2 inches beneath my shoulder..... (pictures would help)

Cute, easy hair styles?

Wear it in a messy bun, scrunch it with gel and hairspray with a clip in it and leave your bangs on your cheeks,or you can put it up in a ponytail and have the ponytail curled.Oh you can also curl your hair and put on a headband.

Cute, easy hair styles?

picking it up is cute, it takes almost no time at all and there are alot of options.

regular ponytail, part of it up and part of it down (great for thick hair), messy buns, and putting a clip in it

Cute, easy hair styles?

dotn have any pics srry but u can get jel and schunching ur hair is quick and easy. or a pony tail 3 times aweek but now more than that prob.!

Cute, easy hair styles?

I use this stuff by sunsilk and its call anti-friz and i dont know if you have friz but i have wavy hair, and at night i just take a shower and put that in it and go to bed with it wet. When i wake up its curly and i do a poof or pomp with bobbypins at the top and its easy. Takes like 3 minutes tops.

Cute, easy hair styles?

You can do a lower side ponytail, or just put a little gel in it and scrunch it a litttle and it will be cute and wavey

Cute, easy hair styles?

just wear your hair up, or just wat ever u like

Cute, easy hair styles?

A really cute style for somebody your age with your hair type (thick and wavy) is braiding - if you think a single braid is too old fashioned, try two braided pigtails! It is quick and easy, looks good, and when you want to take it down for an "evening" look, you get these great waves automatically that are really "in' right now.

Do you know any cute hair styles for thin, layered, shoulder-length hair?

My hair is dark brown with a lot of blonde hilights and I was wondering if anyone knew some cute hairstyles to do with it. It is very thin and layered and has just seemed to be boring lately. My hair is naturally curly/wavy. When dried naturally it normally just comes out a big ball of friz. So I have a Helen of Troy Straightener that works very well, and I pretty much straighten my hair every day. Also if anyone knows a new stlye/cut to do with it please let me know because my hair has been a pain lately! ...If you know what I mean. Thanks so much!

Hair styles for a girl?

I have long ark blond hair. It is curly and puffy. So what can i do with it i always put it in a ponytail.

Hair styles for a girl?

Hey!!

Me and my friend say Try Panteen Prov Moose, and use lots of conditioner. And blow dry your hair. When its wet.

Hair styles for a girl?

straiten it. layer it. or diffuse it

Hair styles for a girl?

You can always but it into two braids, and put it to the front.

Straighten it, let it down.. etc

Hair styles for a girl?

if you want to wear it curly, diffusers are AMAZING!!! I have the same kind of hair and I couldn't live with out my diffuser.

Hair styles for a girl?

starighten it and get it layered in the front (frame) thats what i did and i love it but dont cut it too short if u ever want to put it up in a pony tail or style it...i like the braid idea. pigtail brades are always cute especially in the summer but every day is different....ur hair should speak ur mood......romantic=curly, happy=pigtails, sporty=ponytail, ordinary=straight.....hope that helps! :)

Hair styles for a girl?

Well, when you straighten it i would suggest you put in some type of hair serum...like frizz ease...i have crazy curly hair and it works so well for me when i straighten my hair...

Curly hair Problem!!!?

I have medium curly hair, when I take a shower I usually put gel or mosse in it. After it drys it looks so good in the front but then the back of my hair its really poofy!!! I love having curly hair but when I wear my hair down the back is poofy!! I tried to gel it down but it doesn't seem to work!! Also do you know any good sites for hair styles like mine?

Thanks!!

Curly hair Problem!!!?

Maybe your putting the gel only on the outside layers of your hair? Try flipping you head to the floor with your hair hanging down put gell on your hair that would usually be underneath your top layers of your hair. Especially in the back. Also...

To control the poofiness try using leave in conditioners for your hair after you've had your shower, they definatly help. You can buy anti-frizz gel serem thats made for dealing with fuzziness etc. You simply put it in your hands then run it through your hair when its still wet and leave it in to dry. Also try using conditioner everytime you wash your hair. Try leaving it in for a few minutes and then rinse it out. Use conditioner on the ends of your hair opposed to the roots! Also, do not wash your hair everyday if you can stand it because when you wash your hair you wash all the natural oils that keep hair healthy down the drain. Try washing your hair every 2end day if you can. That can also help reduce frizziness. Oh and if you ever color your hair, the color won't come out as quickly if you wash it every second day. When you get out of the shower and your hair is wet (whether you washed it or not) brush/comb it out! If you wait until it drys then brush it, the poofiness and frizziness will definatly be a problem and your hair will be full of knots. I don't use gels in my hair because I don't like them. I use Infusium Leave-In Moisturizing Treatment and Heat Activated Treatment which you both spray into your hair whether it's wet or dry but I find it works better when you put it through wet hair. I sometimes use the anti-frizz serem but not often. I remember watching a video from a professional hair stylist saying that you should put conditioner in wet clean hair approx every 5 shampoos and use a shower cap to cover your hair with the conditioner in it. The heat coming from your head should condition your hair. Then your supposed to wait 30minutes, I'm not sure if you rinse it out because they don't mention if you do after that. They say you should do this because your hair gets dyed out very easily and needs deep hydration, but I have never done that before or know anyone who does but I guess if your hair is that bad you can try it. I think that is going to the extremes though.

If you tend to use heat on your hair a lot by using curling irons or straightening irons or hair dryers etc. it can damage your hair. It can also cause poofiness and frizziness especially if your hair is wet when your using heat to style it, so avoid heat for your hair as well. If you tend to use a hair dryer everytime after you have a shower then try to limit it down or buy a hair dryer with the cool air option which won't do as much damage. Overall try avoiding using hair dryers on your hair.

I hope I helped! Maybe I wrote too much... This advice goes to all people who have fuzzy hair problems and poofiness!

Curly hair Problem!!!?

Hi I will be going to school for hair next year and i have a passion for it. Try using a curling spray after u towle dry ur hair. Spray it in and "scrunch" you're hair with ur hands by tilting ur head to the side. You could also use DE FRIZER. It works great. Hope this helps!

I used to have a problem similar to yours. My hair is curly and over years i have learned what to do. When i get out of the shower, I dry my hair some by putting it up in a towel first. I then put mouse in it and blow dry it. When you blow dry it, you will be able to see the spots you missed with mouse. With mouse, you can go back and put more in and it will be fine. After I blow dry my hair, i put a light layer of hair spray all over my hair to keep it how it is. When putting mouse in your hair, part your hair all the way down the back of your head so you know you are getting in the middle of your hair instead of the outside. Another trick for that is to shake your head then flip it down and separate the hair in the middle/back of your head and put more there.

Curly hair Problem!!!?

My hair was always like that, but as it gets longer, it tames out.. I use Herbal Essence for curly hair.. its a purple bottle.. I use to use CurlVive by L'Orel but they no longer make it... Also, use a leave in conditioner with the gel and palmade...

Curly hair Problem!!!?

Your probably not applying the equal amount of product on the back like on the front, have you trie other styling products? or probably your hair is more abosorbant from the back. Pantene Pro-V has a line of shampoos, conditioners, styling products specially for curly hair, since I have straight hair they leave my hair really soft and touchable. Good Luck

Long thick curly hair change?

Hi all!

I am hoping to find an answer that will help me make a BIG choice. I have coarse, thick, curly hair. I am of Mediterranean decent (Italian) and have frustrating hair. right now I have my hair all one length and it is curly naturally in a past the shoulder bob. I am considering to get it cut into layers, but fear that I will end up with more of an afro then a style. Does anyone know if cutting curly (slightly tight curls) would calm my hair or end up making me look like a brunette version of bozo the clown? I am in a high end retail executive position and need to make sure I always look professional.

thanks for any feedback you can pass my way!!

T

Long thick curly hair change?

Yes I think you should get layers it will look great on long hair get like 3 layers it will be much more easier to manage

Long thick curly hair change?

If you want to try it out...if you look at walmart there are ethnic sections that have relaxers you could use them and it would make your hair straighter if you say that you have coarse, thick, curly hair because my hair is your like yours and i get an relaxer and it makes my hair alittle less curly and more manageable but still it has a pretty slicky curl.

Long thick curly hair change?

well i have curly hair but i ussaully pull it up or i wet it down and put it in pig tails

Long thick curly hair change?

ask a stylist to thin your hair and is it past your shoulders? if no then forget about getting it cut. get it V shaped in the back of it and dont get your hair done at Walmart get it done somewhere where there are actual professionals

Long thick curly hair change?

My hair is similar but maybe not as curly, anyway the shorter I cut it the more poofy it gets.

Long thick curly hair change?

hi i know what you mean i have the same type of hair. it can be really annoying. you should get layers. they make your hair less poofy and if you want to calm the curls in your hair you can always buy a leave in conditioner like sunsilk anti poof its great! or straighten it.

Long thick curly hair change?

Ask the hair dresser to thin it out and after washing use a strong mousse and scrunch it into the slight curl you want and allow it to dry naturally it should look very pretty, if you tell the stylist what you want most of them will also help you achieve the result you want at home

Long thick curly hair change?

GET Layers. It will soften the curl and weigh less. Plus the layers will frame your face.

I beg for layers on my curly hair. My hair is very heavy otherwise. You may even want to ask your stylist to thin you hair out. I take that back...I would insist on getting your hair thinned out with thinning shears.

Speaking from experience and love my curls...Do IT!

Celebrities and curly hair??

I have really curly hair and I'm getting a cut and style. I want some ideas from celebrities with ACTUALLY CURLY HAIR!! None of this thing with celebrities who have their hair curled occasionally, I want people who have curly hair. Pictures and recommendations of people to look up pictures will help. The first person to give me something I can actually use will get the best answer. Thanks!! I'm Victoria, by the way.

Celebrities and curly hair??

Howdy Victoria! Debra Messing has beautiful red natural curly hair! Google her! Minnie Driver too. AND I just found out that Sarah Jessica Parker's hair is naturally curly! I say grow it long and keep it healthy.

Celebrities and curly hair??

If you have curly hair, don't cut it! Grow it like how Nicole Kidman had her hair long and curly..

Celebrities and curly hair??

Well grab a horn and start honking.. Marx Brothers... :-)

Celebrities and curly hair??

There are hardly any hairstyles for curly hair and it sucks! ='[ . .I have really curly hair [got it straightened in that pic tho] lol . .best thing that I find that helps is having it long, with a few bottom bits layered, nothing to high up layered or else it will just look like a poodle gone wrong . .lol that's what i reckon anyways. Have a look through some hair magazines and see what you find, best of luck =]

What's an easy to manage hairstyle for thick frizzy/curly hair?

I did have my hair really long and I chopped it all off recently. Now I need to figure out what to do with it. My hair is very thick and frizzy or curly or wavy depending on the weather. Right now it is shoulder length with a couple layers in it (oops. It was a botch job I did myself. Luckily they are not too short. They are still below the ears anyway.) I need a very low maintenance style that I can wear curly, and still looks good if I straighten it. I am not a big fan of thinning my hair. It doesn't go well. Color ideas are helpful too.

What's an easy to manage hairstyle for thick frizzy/curly hair?

I have thick hair, too. I agree, thinning it is counter-intuitive. I want to have thick, curly hair, not thin wisps of hair at the end!

My haircut is the same length if I'm upside down. The stylist cut it that way so that the curls can sit on top of each other basically.

I like the Aussie gel for frizzy hair. Works well, and doesn't get sticky.

What's an easy to manage hairstyle for thick frizzy/curly hair?

get frizz ezz shampoo and conditioner and get a straightener my choice conair at target for $24 works like a charm

What's an easy to manage hairstyle for thick frizzy/curly hair?

u could put a mousse or gel in ur hair and then bow dry with a diffuser. itll look really pretty. for the frizz u could use biosilk. for a hair color i would need to see the color of ur skin. well hope i helped.

What's an easy to manage hairstyle for thick frizzy/curly hair?

use a 100% boar bristle roundbrush...it will smooth your hair (while you blow-dry it) without damaging it like a straitener will....there are tons of products for "firz-away" or "smooth-down" things like that that mostly work well.

What's an easy to manage hairstyle for thick frizzy/curly hair?

My friend Cassandra has naturally curly hair that frizzes easily and she wears side braids. The side braids look cute and when she takes them out her hair is in neater waves. I know she uses smoothing products but don't know the name (purple bottles I think). Her hair was never really frizzy before she started trying to make it straight.

What's an easy to manage hairstyle for thick frizzy/curly hair?

Get sunsilk De-Frizz creme/shampoo/conditioner. It works great!

I need some hair styles?

I need some hair styles?

SOAK ur hair every morning and apply hair creme that keeps your hair from flying everywhere, it helped me.

I need some hair styles?

Go with a bob, which is all one length it really is nice and you could use a straightener on it, they make some cheap and good ones

Whats the best way to style curly medium length brown hair?

I have exact same hair type. First off, in order to get soft shiny curls you will need a rich and creamy (NOT GREASY) leave in conditioner. I rarely shampoo my hair. I clean it using a conditioner. Then I use Herbal Esscence Breaks Free Leave in Conditioner. If you are going to get a haircut try to find a stylist that specializes in curly hair. I was fortunate enough to meet one and he told me that gels a mousses should be avoided and conditioning is key. I doubted him but eventually I gave up and caved. Now I use no styling products at all other than my conditioner in the shower and leave in right after. This prevents frizzies and dryness which makes curls look messy. The best way to wear your hair is curly. and few things look better than a gorgeous and conditioned head of curls. Also, avoid shampoos with sodium lauryl sulfate if you must use a shampoo. It dries out hair. Baby shampoos do not contain this chemical so you can try those. So remember, condition condition condition. And I suggest you get a long layered haircut. Shortest layer shouldn't be above your jaw since it will shrink when your hair curls. And remember your culrs are beautiful, theres no need to hide them. Take care of them so that they do the work of looking good for you!

Whats the best way to style curly medium length brown hair?

Shave it:):):):):):):):):)

Whats the best way to style curly medium length brown hair?

get layers and side bangs!!! i have the same style as u do

and i got that it looks awesome!!

Whats the best way to style curly medium length brown hair?

I have curly hair to honey and it can be a pain the best thing to do is to come out of the shower and put mousse and some frizzing serum, but a good brand or at least one that is strong and is made for curls (well at least for the mousse)then let your hair out to dry and wala. I hope this works for this is my magic treatment.

Best of luck!

Whats the best way to style curly medium length brown hair?

Shoulder length with long layers.

Don't fight the curls it makes it worse. Finger comb your hair (don't use a comb or brush because it breaks the ringlets apart and causes more frizzing) then use a a good mouse, use a hair dryer on low to dry and use a pump hairspray.

Good luck

Perms for curly hair?

i have really curly hair and it makes it really hard to style fast... does anyone know a good hair cut for curly hair and what a bout a perm. will it damage my hair a lot ?

Perms for curly hair?

Careful when you get your hair cut. If you wear your hair curly go to a curly hair specialist! Otherwise you could end up with uneven locks because they will cut it wet and straight. Usually curly hair needs to be cut dry! I wear my hair long, but it is a lot to take care of. With curly hair it is easier when it is shorter. Also if you already have a lot of volume DO NOT GET IT LAYERED! This will add volume. Your best bet is to go to someone who knows curly hair and ask them what they think woud be best for your face. This will probably be at a higher end salon.

I have really curly hair. Some good tips:

-Never use a brush or comb. Always use your fingers to brush it and only when wet. Run your fingers through your hair like a brush. It is much more gentle.

-Shampoo your hair once every 1-2 weeks. Curly hair does not need to be washed much. The more you shampoo the frizzier it will be because shampoo takes the oil out and your hair is dry.

-Use conditioner every day

-After brushing with fingers, put gel in it. Find one that you like. It make take a few different trys to find a good one.

-Always cut your hair dry. When curly hair is wet it straightens, but when it dries it coils back up. If you get your hair cut wet, it is going to coil up when dry and may be uneven.

-Towel-dry (squeege, don't wrap your hair) or air dry whenever possible. If you must use a hair dryer, you need to use a diffuser.

I use herbal essence curly hair conditioner (and shampoo when I need it) and LA Looks Curly hair gel. If you want pictures of how my hair looks e-mail me MSteinberg414@yahoo.com

hope this helps!

Perms for curly hair?

having long layers in your hair will help make curly hair easier to style.

and yes perming your hair will damage it.. any thing you do to your hair that involves chemical will damage it

Perms for curly hair?

Ask a hair stylist.

Perms for curly hair?

If you already have curly hair. do not put a perm in. I have very fine hair and perms make it very brittle and thin.

Perms for curly hair?

NEVER ever perm your hair. It'll make the frizz worse! As for the hair cut. I'd recommend long layers. they look the best and the curls don't get the poodle effect. My hair is the same texture at Taylor Swift. So, I have to be very careful with it. I use hand lotion on my hair and then some extreme hold gel. You'll have shiny spiraling curls. Oh, and make sure not to touch it or move quickly until it's 90% dry!

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

Ok heres the deal:

I have naturally curly hair, which I have been straightening daily for a very long time now. So my hair is very damaged. I like my hair better straight, but I would LOVE to be able to keep it curly, I just can't find a style that is easy to do and not time consuming. My hair is a bit past shoulder length when left curly and it always poofs up wich I don't like. The top layer is always weird waves and underneath its really curly (Which I dont mind) I need idea's of what to do with my hair so I don't continue to damage it as much! HELP?!

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

I have naturally curly hair and I have found that if I do not blow it dry, the curls lay much nicer. I too prefer my hair straight and use a flat iron on it often, but I use a very moisturizing shampoo and conditioner AND I do treatments on it weekly to keep it from drying out. I also use leave-in conditioners and anytime I use the flat iron I use BioSilk's Silk Therapy to protect it. Now when I wear it curly, I do my usual shampoo, apply a leave-in, apply some silk therapy and some Frederic Fekkai Gloss, I let it air dry and scrunch it a lot with my hands or a wash cloth (for some reason that really makes the curls come out).......I think that by not blow drying it makes the curls stay together better that way it does not frizz. Good luck!

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

Try no shampoo or brush (not unhygienic).Massage scalp w/ conditioner and rinse. Then spread conditioner outside of hair and nape of neck.Gently comb tangles out w/ fingers from under hair and rinse.Or use wide toothed comb.Takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. http://www.ylcf.org/gotcurl/ Report It

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

panteene relaxed and natural shampoo and conditioner for women of color it works wonders and wash your hair every other day

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

First off stop straightening your hair everyday. That's the reason your hair is so damaged. You should get your hair permanently straightened at the hair salon. The straightness usually lasts up to 3 months. And with it straight you can do anything you want with it including making your hair wavy.

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

since its just hair stop screwing with it

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

try a product called CATWALK :}

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

Have you talked to your hair stylist? There may be a relaxer or chemical straightener than can be used. You may want to cut off the damaged part, and start with fresh, healthy hair.

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

Quit straightening it! That's what is causing the damage! put some gel or mouse in it and fluff it after its dry! Give it a break before you make it all fall out! LOL People pay lots of money for curl girl! trust me ! Been doing hair for yrs!

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

Get some STRONG hairspray and when you get out of the shower keep it wet and spray it down later when it air dries it will be pretty curls with no poofing and no hard stiffness, I think that the little bit of water dulls the hairspray so it doesnt feel crunchy but it still gives a strong hold on wild hair. Don't scrunh because if you do you will get jagged spikes and it won't look natural. I love Bedhead's hairpsray: Masterpiece

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

1. Get your ends trimmed

2. STOP STRAIGHTENING YOUR HAIR

3. No more heat products (blow dryer, curling iron, etc.)

4. Condition, condition, condition!!!

5. Find a mousse or anti-frizz product that offers some control without drying your hair out.

6. Buy a wide-toothed comb. NEVER use a brush. And always use leave-in conditioner when your hair is wet.

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

use a shampoo for damged hair.. I trust pantene... dove, fructus garnier, head and sholders and a few others.. I say MAJOR no to pret.

don't straigthen your hair daily... because the heat if what's damaging your hair. maybe go to a hair dresses oen day and ask for osme tips, they're pro at least.

if they're willing to talk. they'll for sure ahve some great tricks.

if you don't mind, I htink you should save your hair before you think soley on a good way to tie it up.

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

i use DOVE shampoo. it works wonders on my hair, and has an awsome scent. what i wood do is use DOVE, and keep stregten =ing your hair. then, when it is longer, you can let is go curly again, without it turning into a frizzball aroung your neck.

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

First..you need to get a cut where the poofy layer is thinned out and the underlying curl is allowed to show. There are shampoos that really do work with our kind of hair that you can wash in straighter hair or let it go curly. I never use heat on my hair. I let it air dry and only use a wide-toothed comb or my fingers to style it. Never forget that women spend mega-bucks to get hair like ours, so revel in your natural beauty and keep your hair trimmed and clean!

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

stop straighten it

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

Use luke warm olive oil to oil your hair everytime before you wash them.

only wash your hair twice a week.

stop heating up your hair ( as by using straightner or dryer...etc)

avoid ny sort of chemicals on your hair.

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

use thermal protection spray before u straighten ur hair so that it won't get damaged anymore, don't dye it or bleach it cos that's real bad! use shampoo and conditioner specifically for damaged hari and use those little treatment sachets from like V05 or summin...Also if you want to experiment a bit with your hair invest in a GHD ceramic straightener, they're totally amazing...i have naturally curly hair n 30 minutes of the ghd and my hair stays straight with slight curls where i want them for a whole week..so that gets rid of the daily straightening which is really really unhealthy...but if you want your hair curly, just use some sort of serum in it (fructis sleek n shine weightless smoothing serum does the trick for me) and don't brush your hair once it's dried...natural curls look amazing..Good luck!

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

OK, if you want to straighten it at home you can buy a Sedu flat iron and it's supposed to be incredibly effective. You can see pics of how it works at www.folica.com

If you want to work with the curls, then you need a really good haircut and that means don't go to the cheap salon. You can get consults and observe who knows how to cut properly. Don't choose just anyone.

There are defrizzers and gels that should help you. Sometimes if you fight the curl too much, it frizzes. In the past I've used John Frieda's Frizz-Ease on my soaking wet hair. It helps! Then I use a heavy duty gel like Creative Genius and add that to the top. Then I air dry or use a diffuser. Don't blow it out, it will just increae the problem as you probably know by now.

Let us know how it turns out after trying what you think sounds good.

Naturally Curly MAJORLY DAMAGED Hair, NEEDS HELP!?

I am an absolute curly hair lover...(in fact, I don't date girls who don't have curly hair...lol...tad obsessive I know, but that's my thing)

Anyway, I know that www.naturallycurly.com is a great site for helping people who have naturally curly hair. So I give that to you as a suggestion :)

Thin Hair, Help with styles?

I have very thin hair, and it doesnt grow very often. Ive tried curling it, I have had body perms, they make my hair to curly and frizzy, and when it falls out my hair is even shorter.. Anyone have any ideas for styles for thin hair and how to make it grow.

Thin Hair, Help with styles?

I had the same problem. The stylist said that we need layers. We are not to have the heaviness on top. I also found if I roll my hair wet and sleep in it....that works for volume. Don't use too much products on your hair like gel, mousse, etc.....It will weigh your hair down. Use a little. Also, after you dry your hair, put it in a ponytail on top of your head like BamBam.....wait 30 min. and let it out....it should be fluffy!! Good luck

Thin Hair, Help with styles?

have you tired extenions you ca nget them sown in to where yor hair can grow while you have your extensions in

Thin Hair, Help with styles?

You could try to braid it or put it in a bun overnight and in the moring it will have more volume (and it would be wavy)

Thin Hair, Help with styles?

After shampooing, bend over and brush it so it's all hanging down. Blowdry on low while brushing. It adds body. I also have the same problem, but usually braid it in a single braid at night. That will give you wave %26amp; thickness the next day.

Thin Hair, Help with styles?

Hey i have sorta the same problem. my hair is super stick stright and it wont stay curly for more then like 20 minuites. (perms only work for 1 week for me)get your dead ends cut off every 3 weeks, and don't get your perms... if you REALLY need curly hair use a curling iorn... even though thats not good for your hair either.

Thin Hair, Help with styles?

You might want to go with a short, layered haircut.

Also, don't use too many hair products.

My bangs have broke off due to overprocessing now they are 1inch in length, What hair styles can do

I have a long bob and have very fine curly hair that I usually wear in a style but my bangs have broke off due to over processing now they are 1inch in length, What hair styles can do ?(NO GEL,MOUSE,OR HAIR SPRAY)

Also can u get a weave JUST for bangs? sewn in or glue?

My bangs have broke off due to overprocessing now they are 1inch in length, What hair styles can do ?(no gel?

You could use some bobby pins or clips to pin/clip the hair back so nobody can tell that it's so short and leave the rest of your hair down. Kind of the way how Nicole from PCD sometimes wears her hair but I think your hair is probably shorter than hers.

You could just try to blend them in with the rest of your hair by blow drying it so it falls and mixes with the rest of your hair near the side of your face.

My bangs have broke off due to overprocessing now they are 1inch in length, What hair styles can do ?(no gel?

No gel, mousse, or hair spray? Then there's really nothing you can do, except maybe to use a headband.

EDIT: Sorry you didn't like my answer. But don't ask for OPINIONS if you don't want them!!

My bangs have broke off due to overprocessing now they are 1inch in length, What hair styles can do ?(no gel?

Either you cut all your hair that length, or you can have the bangs go all the way across your forehead, not just sides.

A change in style...starting with hair.?

so, i will be graduating from high school oh so soon. and i am looking to kind of up my style. i want to start with a new hair style. i have naturally curly hair. right now, it is just below the shoulders, and in layers. length doesn't really matter to me, other than i have a round face, and prom is coming up. straight or curly doesnt really matter either, but it would be nice if it looked ok either way. um, i would really love it to match my basic style which is feminine but edgy. so, help is nice. =]

A change in style...starting with hair.?

I also have a round face, and I really regretted getting a bob many times. Having a round face and a bob made me look really fat around my face. it was terrible. Your hair sounds nice right not, but if your opting for change, maybe shorter layers or a change in hair colour is enough for a dramatic effect. Whatever you chose, good luck ;)

Hair styles for rainy days?

All this week is going to be really bad weather, really cold, wet and rainy and we are even expecting thunderstorms! Usually for school on a "normal day" I would get up straighten my hair and wear it out for school. I also have a full big side fringe, bangs and razor cut kind of hair. Wearing my hair slick or pinning my fringe back is NOT and option because i just dont look good like that. But on rainy days my fringe gets really gappy and my bangs curl and flick. But its the only way I no how to wear it. Does anyone have ideas of some nice hairstyles for rainy weather, or ways i can stop my hair from getting curly and gappy without having to go out and buy special fancy products. Like maybe just some hairspray or somthing simple?

thankyou %26lt;3

Hair styles for rainy days?

um what i do is put it in a high pony-tail. and for my bangs they get gappy also, so what i do is straighten my bangs and then pin them back on top of my head or just let them sit on my face but hairspray works great. the best brand is "Suave"

Hope i helped

What is a good hair style for a 13 year old girl with curly hair?

i am planning to go cut my hair before school starts and it will probably be cut a little longer then my shoulders. i want to go into school everyday with a better sense of my hair styles then last year- meaning i went into school last year with a pony tail and on good days something y like a straighten but i want something GREAT for my hair to look like. I am a regular girl who is very preppy . do you have any advice for great hair dos and donts for curlyy hairrrr!?!?

What is a good hair style for a 13 year old girl with curly hair?

Definatly get layers, that way it makes your hair look like you care about it :P

Lol

then you could straighten it so that the layers will show.

If you want, you could get long side swept bangs, which would look cool. If you do get the bangs, then you should put your hair up into a messy ponytail and leave the bangs down, wich would look super preppy and it will feel compterble (cant spell)

If you dont get the bangs, you could try scruntching your hair after you get out of the shower, which is a favorite style of mine.

Just remeber that what ever you do, you could always change it =)

Remember to do what YOU want to do, and what makes YOU feel good about yourself. When you have your own style and confidence, it makes everyone around you know how cool you really are =)

hehe good luck xDDé–³?br>What is a good hair style for a 13 year old girl with curly hair?

wear it down and grow it to be right above ur waist. ahlf up and half down is really cute. think about maybe gettin some sidebangs. good luck anyhoo!

What is a good hair style for a 13 year old girl with curly hair?

a half up is really cute (top half of hair in a ponytail and the rest hangs below) or a messy bun

What is a good hair style for a 13 year old girl with curly hair?

long

What is a good hair style for a 13 year old girl with curly hair?

messy curls are the go when your hair is down and a way to make them look extra fabulous is to straighten little strands so it looks like your hair is naturally straight and then leave some curls so it looks like u curled em and mess it up a little bit and it looks great.

Natural curly hair delima?

I was born with naturally curly hair. I've recently been getting into short hair styles. not too short, but just above the shoulder. Im tempted to get it cut but someone advised me not to because my curls would be out of place. Im willing to straighten it with a straighting iron on some days but I don't think it will cause that much damage. any help?

Natural curly hair delima?

Go to a great hairstylist!

A good hairstylist can cut any kind of hair.

Too much heat on hair can damage - thats why you need to condition it and treat it with moisturisers and friz control. Try the Pantene products for your curls and conditioners and John Freida for hair friz control.

Be adventurous and get the style you want - and have fun with the different styles you can create - straighten it, or leave it curly etc.

Natural curly hair delima?

Using a straightening iron every day will cause damage, especially split ends and fried-looking hair. A good stylist will be able to work with your curls to create a good style - just be sure to go with your hair natural, not straightened, and talk to your stylist before she even touches the scissors.

Natural curly hair delima?

u can cut it and use a nice mousse

Natural curly hair delima?

my gf is acually a hairdresser and she uses a straightening iron almost every day.... the key is that you have to buy a har treatment from a salon directly it cant be the cheap stuff from the drug store. anyway... put the hair treatment in about 2-3 times a week to keep ur hair nurished and reduce the damage to it.

Natural curly hair delima?

i have curly hair if you straighten your hair then make sure that you always protect it with cream or spray before you straighten

Natural curly hair delima?

your luckey my hair is naturally very straight its about 4 inches from my butt and no matter how tight i curl my hair they only last for like half a secound

Natural curly hair delima?

If you don't like the curls, you could get it professionally straightened then it would be longer. I am of mixed race and I dislike my curly hair so I get it relaxed (straightened for people of color) every once in a while. I am not sure exactly what you would call getting your hair straight (if you are white). Then after you get it straightened ( if you do) use shampoo and conditioner for permed or color-treated hair to keep your hair from excess damage. Because of the chemicals in the straightener you'll need these types of shampoos and conditioners.

Natural curly hair delima?

well. most girls thathave curly hair..its thick also. so short styles arent too good. but maybe if you are willing to get it thinned too?

Natural curly hair delima?

i think u should do what u want and stop listening to some others advice bc it is your hair and it will grow back if they do go out of place. my hair is naturally curly and i cut it shrt and it looks fine but like i said it is your hair u do what YOU want with it.

how about something like that? if you look at the ends of their curls, their hair is layered.

so you can straighten it, and have it be layered and it can look nice either way

:)

My naturally curly hair. (See details.)?

Well, you can tell by looking at my avatar that my hair is curly. My cousin says that I should totally change my hair style. Although, my boy friend says that my hair looks fine. My cousin is very rich, and has her hair style changed every month. My mom does the same thing along with my three sisters,Tasha, Porsche, and Camely. I never found the reason to do it though. Should I do it? If so, could you help me with some hair styles? I don't know if this will do any good, but, I live in Malibu, California.

My naturally curly hair. (See details.)?

I personally don't think you should change your hairstyle just because your cousin says to do so.

Everyone's different and likes different things- if it's your style and trademark to have curly hair and you're content with that, keep it that way... if you start changing yourself to suit other people, it will become an endless effort to please everyone else.

Your boyfriend thinks you're beautiful and as long as you like it the way it is then there is no reason to change it.

If you want to try something different every now and then, invest in a good quality hair straightener (not steam, preferrably electric- ask the lady at the salon which one would suit you best). This way you can still have your curly hair, but have a change every now and then if you feel like it- it's nothing permanent and is a bit of fun.

Stick true to yourself- if you love what you see in the mirror, then that's the most important thing to keep in mind.

My naturally curly hair. (See details.)?

just so u know lots of guys think curly hair is sexy, but if anything u should make it long, layered, and wavy...if not leave your hair

My naturally curly hair. (See details.)?

If you can pull off the curly hair look, KEEP IT. Curly hair is so much nicer than the cloned straight hair look that almost every girl has. You can straighten it or make its wavy at times, but curls are beautiful.

My naturally curly hair. (See details.)?

i have cury hair too. i just got my hair layered and angled so then it looks good wen i straighten it and i just put gel or mouse in it every mourning na dim "good to go!" lmao!! but serioulsy it looks nice

My naturally curly hair. (See details.)?

My hair is also curly, and I hate to wear it like that for more than a week. If you don't want to change it drastically, just take a flat iron to it. You'd have to get a good kind, but you can find a decent one at beauty salons and Wal-Mart.

My naturally curly hair. (See details.)?

Hey I have the same kinda hair except with mine you can tell it is curly.Hey add me delsyreyes@verizon.net and we can talk about your hair more.

My naturally curly hair. (See details.)?

well you can change it once a week...start by getting layers...layers will make naturally curly easier to style and change...but if you're doing it to please people and you truley want to keep your hair then leave it alone...with naturally curly hair (a no brainer) you don't need to get a pro to style it or change it you can just do it yourself (other than the cut/color part)

Hair style for me???

Hair style for me???

You are not ugly and your hair didn't look curly in the picture. If it is curly you can wear it straight or you can use a curl enhancing gel and rock your curls. It's really about what makes you comfortable and how much time you will have to style your hair. You could wet set your hair. While it is wet, put a styling mouse or gel in and braid it in sections. Once it's dry, take the braids out and wear it wave/ curly. If you want it straight, blow dry it (preferably with a comb or brush attachment or while using a round brush. After it is dry, section it and flat iron it for a sleek, smooth look. I hope you find an answer that you can use. Good luck.

Hair style for me???

doesnt look very curly to me...

but take advangtage of the fact that its curly

curl it

when its wet, put gell in it

Hair style for me???

if you don't really like all the curls try straightening your hair.if you would rather not damage your hair too much by straightening try pulling your hair back in a ponytail or loosely with a clip and have some curls come out around your face.in my opinion it looks nice when hair is a little messy so you can try that too.

Hair style for me???

your hair is't curly at all but letting it loose would look nice

Hair style for me???

first of all u r not ugly .u r pretty.curly hair will suit u.cut ur hair in shoulder length and apply serum on ur hair.

Hair style for me???

umm this isn't rude but use some founation it will make u look different and maybe u'll feel better about urself

What kind of hair styles can i do?

cause i have REALLY curly hair, so its hard to do different styles with it.

What kind of hair styles can i do?

Curly hair is the best if it's long enough to do something!

First, leave it down, use a mousse to make it look great.

Second, you can leave half of it down and just put up half of it with a barette.

Third, you can make a pretty pony tail, it shows your face but we still see your curly hair in the back.

You can braid it or put it in piggy tails.

Personnally, I do two big French braids on top of my head and then I finish in a pony tail, it looks great and you can go to the beach or even take a nap and it doesn't move from an inch!

What kind of hair styles can i do?

layer it, don't style it, be free

What kind of hair styles can i do?

put in it the color pink or white girl

What kind of hair styles can i do?

I've always thought that girls who have a couple strands of their hair as long bangs looks really cute...on curly hair at least. Do that, and then wear your hair in a ponytail with your bangs hanging out.

What kind of hair styles can i do?

try straightening it with a straightener, no matter how curly, i have found that it works. You can tying it up in different styles, you know, with bangs in the front a little in the back......you shold try braiding it, all you need are some hairtyes, and some creativity!

What kind of hair styles can i do?

Let's see.... You could do:

-1\2 pony tail

-full pony tail

-let down and pin it back

-let it down and put a headband in

What kind of hair styles can i do?

try this

I want to wear my hair curly for a wedding. What style should I go for?

I have shoulder length light brown hair with blonde highlights. I always wear it straight when I'm going out, but i fancy a change so I've booked in my hairdressers to get it curled on Saturday morning. I have a heart shaped face and I don't really know what style would suit me.

Also am i better getting it done with the tongs or heated rollers (I haven't got time to get it done with GHDs) ? Which would be most likely to stay in all day?

Any advice welcome!!! Thanx!

I want to wear my hair curly for a wedding. What style should I go for?

There are a lot of "what if's" here.

I don't know if you live in a humid climate or what but usually for something like a wedding it's best to go with the curling iron. Honestly (and from a hairdressers point of view) it would be even better to find a picture and go in a day or two before the event to just chat a few minutes with him or her about what you think you want. That way it's not so stressful when you go in there the morning of in a hurry and leave unhappy because you didn't have time to get your ideas across.

That said, It all depends on how much effort you want to spend on it after you leave the hair stylist. If you don't mind keeping a small bottle of hairspray in your bag...i think just wearing it half up with a pretty clip is a very nice look for the summer(however if your going to be dancing the night away, it might fall and stick to the back of your neck). If you don't want to mess with it at all or if it's a very fancy evening wedding then i suggest wearing it all up. If your going to wear it super curly then your stylist can probably just start pinning pieces back and have it look lovely. I'm not a fan of having it all swept back (especially if you have a heart shaped face) the look is very severe and very few people can pull it off. I suggest a side bang (or a fake one if you don't have bangs) and then just have your stylist finger comb the curls back and pin them up. it's an easy going style that looks very nice for many occasions. Like i said in the beginning, it all just depends on the environment you'll be in and how well you communicate to your stylist.

I want to wear my hair curly for a wedding. What style should I go for?

I would say go for soft waves rather than actual curls. The hairdresser will know what to use, I would suggest taking a picture in. This one is good:

I want to wear my hair curly for a wedding. What style should I go for?

i would have to suggest tongs in my experience heated rollers are pretty crap and the curls dont hold as well!!!! just make sure you use plenty of hair spray before and after you use the tongs!!! if your looking for speed GHDs are much quicker than tonging your hair dresser will be able to do it in half the time, as you have a heart shaped face almost any style will suit you!!!! good luck

I want to wear my hair curly for a wedding. What style should I go for?

I would try this... they've got a pretty cool updo gallery section. http://www.the411onhair.com/updos.html hope that helps you out with trying to find the right look for you. You might also want to try the contact us link if you have any other questions.

I want to wear my hair curly for a wedding. What style should I go for?

i think that an updo would be very classy for this event. it will be easy for you to maintain during the evening. just tease a little here and there and add a little shot of hairspray every couple hours.

your hair is not long enough to pull to really curl that much. they will have to do more smaller spiral curls . i am not sure you will like it as well.

What's the best way to get straight hair? I'm half black/Filippino and I have thick/dry cu

I've tried relaxers but they always look nice when I get out of the salon that day and then the next day, it's back to being crappy. The next week when I try to style my hair out of the shower, my bangs curl up annoyingly. I tried using random stuff like Neutrogena Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum to get rid of dryness and it works great, but I need straighter hair for it to look better. %26gt;.%26lt; My mom won't let me buy an iron straightener and completely shuts me down on the topic because she's afraid my hair will get worse. =/ IMO, I think it looks cruddy. What should I do?

What's the best way to get straight hair? I'm half black/Filippino and I have thick/dry curly hair...?

I have cousins with hair like that and they just blow dry it to get it straight. It takes awhile, but hey, it works. Just be sure to keep it well moisturized so it wont break off from being too dry.

What's the best way to get straight hair? I'm half black/Filippino and I have thick/dry curly hair...?

a flat iron and blow dryer

What's the best way to get straight hair? I'm half black/Filippino and I have thick/dry curly hair...?

i have heard putting milk and honey in your hair that makes hair straighter. Milk moisturises it and honey is like a hair serum.

if you do get a straightener do it in to sections.

Drinking lots of water works wonders for hair as it does for miine as it makes it softer and so more manegeble.and frizz free.

What's the best way to get straight hair? I'm half black/Filippino and I have thick/dry curly hair...?

i am white and i have really curly naturaul hair, i straiten it the iron i use is called a chi. would the iron hurt your hair? i would reccomend that try another relaxer at home and see if that one would work different.

What's the best way to get straight hair? I'm half black/Filippino and I have thick/dry curly hair...?

I have hair just like yours and the only thing that works for me is to use an iron... yes an iron like you use to iron your clothes just put a towel on your bed and place hair in small sections on the towel and iron like you would a pair of pants or a shirt... honest to goodness it will work i have been doing it for years... than buy some coconut butter the solid kind they use as body lotion and after you iron it rub some into your hands and than into your hair... i know it sounds crazy but you'll believe me it will work

What's the best way to get straight hair? I'm half black/Filippino and I have thick/dry curly hair...?

I don't quite understand why your mum lets you relax your hair but wont let you have straightners. I would have thought the latter was the lesser of two evils anyway.

There are straighters you can use whilst blow drying, they are non electrical.

Ive got mixed race hair aswell, theres that problem of not being able to to use "white" products %26amp; "black" products being too heavy. I find keracare (try the light oil), Paul mitchell (Gloss drops - for smooth style, He does a weatherproof spray that protects against rain, humidity etc) %26amp; Phillp Kingsley (elastisizer - like a deep conditioning treatment) products to work well with my hair. I also sometimes use tresemme products, especially their protecting heat spray.

With regards to your hair being relaxed, before you go to bed each night its a good idea to wrap your hair that way when you get up your hairstyle will remain the next day.

You can get the keracare from most ethnic hairshops, its usually behind the counters

Paul mitchell you can get from selected hairdressers %26amp; supercuts

Phillp Kingsley can be brought from selected hairdresser

Try www.HQhair.com

www.paulmitchell.com

www.phillpkingsley.com

Hope this helps %26amp; Good luck

What's the best way to get straight hair? I'm half black/Filippino and I have thick/dry curly hair...?

use a iron but section ur hair and put the section on an iron board and iron it bit by bit but u need someone to help u do it

I have curly hair and I want a new hair style should I get bangs or what?

If i get side bangs they will just be curly and if I straighten them it will look weird. My hair is just passed my shoulders and it is dirty blonde. I don't want the same hairstyle!!

I have curly hair and I want a new hair style should I get bangs or what?

No. Curly hair looks much nicer without bangs. You can try layers instead, which give curly hair body and movement. Be sure to keep layers relatively long, because layers that are too short can make curls stick up and out. Also, don't straighten your hair all the time. Show off your curls instead.

I have curly hair and I want a new hair style should I get bangs or what?

Ohmygawd I have the same EXACT problem. The thing is, I got side bangs and no, it didn't work out. Then I got bangs, straightened them every day and made the curl out a little bit....looks fantastic.

Good luck! ! !

I have curly hair and I want a new hair style should I get bangs or what?

bangs are annoying. Don't do it...get a bob very stylish right now...You will have to get a flat iron and use product to straighten

I have curly hair and I want a new hair style should I get bangs or what?

Unless you're rockin' the cute short curls, bangs are a BIG no no on curlies! And don't tell me you'd curl half of them up, and half of them down. When I see people that still wear their hair like that, it takes all I can do from saying something to them.

Hair style, pic included?

how would this hair style turn out with curly hair, like ringlet, spiral culry hair, i want a new hair style! and i want minor bangs and minor layers

GORGEOUS! =]

Hair style, pic included?

its kewl!= )

Hair style, pic included?

that hair curly

would probably look really nice.

Hair style, pic included?

i think it would look really good

Hair style, pic included?

with curly hair it might look okay, but that straight is ugly and looks like dogs hair.

Hair style, pic included?

what do you mean how would it turn out? It'd turn out like that, only "ringlet curly"

Hair style, pic included?

Probably OK. The bangs and layers aren't too short in this pic, so you're curls won't get too much tighter. But, although you probably know this, you'll probably want to use a good flat iron. ^_^

Hair style, pic included?

Curly hair may make Your face look wider.

Hair style, pic included?

I like it, but it depends on your face shape.

What kind of styling product do I use for my puffy curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

My hair is curly, when I put gel or other products in order for it to stay nice......... it gets dry, puffy, and big. I hate it, that's why I ALWAYS have my hair in a ponytail.

Please someone help me!!! :*(

What's something that helps curly hair stay manageable and pretty.

What kind of styling product do I use for my puffy curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

use " BED HEAD "Curls Rock!" Curl Amplifier"!! Its like mousse except it doesn;t make your hair harden and it feels soft and it looks really good!!! If you can't get it then use any kind of hair mousse and mix it with some water and put it in your hair and start scrunching your hair with your fingers for both options to get it to look its best.

What kind of styling product do I use for my puffy curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

try Sunsilk

What kind of styling product do I use for my puffy curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

frizz-ease by john fredia...

What kind of styling product do I use for my puffy curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Use some John Frieda muse, and use hairspray. The muse will make the hair less frizzy and the hairspray will make it stay. I have naturally curly hair, and it gets very poofy. (im half black and half white) So i know what you mean, i dont use gel cause it doesnt really work for me.

What kind of styling product do I use for my puffy curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I use Aussie Catch the wave mousse and conditioner! it works great. My hair is the same way and leave in conditioner really helps! This is 2x better because it keeps the curl and conditions your hair.

:) Hope this helps!!!

How do i decrease the volume in my Really curly hair?

My hair is extremely curly and i don't know what product to use that would keep the curls in and minimize the volume i get when it drys. I already use hair products that define curls, but maybe i should just switch to something like a relaxer?? Also I'm only 14 so is there any cute hair style i could do with curly hair that you might know about? Thanks a lot!

How do i decrease the volume in my Really curly hair?

A good cut is the best way to get the poof under control. If you go to a salon and tell them to take the bulk out of your hair (thin it out), they can usually do so without you having to lose too much of the length. Longer hair is heavier, so it weighs down the curls and decreases volume.

I have the same hair type. I use Queen Helene cholesterol gel on my wet hair, then spray it with hairspray. It feels crunchy, but its not bulky. Use a chemical relaxer as a last resort...its very damaging to hair.

Finally, for styles, curly hair tends to look good as is. However, when the poof is too much for me, I make a deep part of one side, and smooth the hair back into a pony tail at the base of my neck. Brush it so it lies flat on the top of your head. Take the actual ponytail and fluff it up. No gel, just a little hairspray. It looks sleek, but very cute.

Have fun!

How do i decrease the volume in my Really curly hair?

Thanks a lot! Report It

How do i decrease the volume in my Really curly hair?

Go to a salon

How do i decrease the volume in my Really curly hair?

Hi. My suggestion to you would be to use any type of strong gel to hold the curls in. Another option would be to use mousse or hairspray. If your hair is really curly, you could use hairspray after you put in gel or mousse.

How do i decrease the volume in my Really curly hair?

You could try straightening conditioner. The best choice would probably be straightening it. If it's stright it's cute to just wear it down, in a ponytail, or you could just sometimes wave it. Good luck!!!

How do i decrease the volume in my Really curly hair?

prob the best way is to go and talk to your hir dresser, and buy a pair of thinning scissors.

that way you can do it yourself
