Curly-Hair Help!?

Yeah man, I feel your pain--i did bangs and they've become a bit of a hassle (my hair is curly too). Try some nice long layers--that's what I'm going back to. Start them right around or under your chin and work your way down. It brings body to your hair when you do it curly and it looks awesome when it's straight. Hope this helps ya!

Curly-Hair Help!?

My hair is unmanagibly curly too. I get it cut in a few layers, not many and cut a sweep bang. I shower, put some "curls up" (CVS like $4) and blow dry curly. Then I either straighten just the bangs or leave it all curly and let the bangs blend in with the layers.

Curly-Hair Help!?

Make a gel of aloe vera, apply it on your head and wash it. Believe me, it really helps.

then take the top half (leave bangs) and curl it upward and clip it .. then put some real pretty shiny clips in the back ... hoop earrings go best when u do this hairstyle.

Ive got strong dark thick curly brown hair and i know how to straighten my hair with a flat iron but my style always gets messed up cause of water or sweat getting in my hair , how can i avoid this? Should i chemically straighten my hair , if so how?

Best way to straighten REALLY curly hair?

Best way to straighten REALLY curly hair?

No. That damages ur hair! Use a straightner called Jilbere de Paris! Its not too expencive! It also works really really good! Just go to Sallay's beauty salon and ask for this shampoo made by ion and that helps with straighting !!!! it's the best

Best way to straighten REALLY curly hair?

I have really curly, thick hair as well. I use a Chi flat iron and a de-frizz cream for my hair. It holds up quite well to humidity when I use my Chi iron.

Annndd....I always wear a hat on rainy days so my hair doesn't get wet!

Long Dark Curly Hair on a Boy?

You're lucky not to be bald. Enjoy it.

Loads of people have dark curly hair and it looks great. Just give it a trim like the lady says.

Long Dark Curly Hair on a Boy?

Personally, I'd love your hair the way it is :D Well, probably. Either way you could try layering the back so that it gets shorter as it goes down. Or one of these http://images.askmen.com/fashion/trends_...

Or when you wash it, you can comb your hair straight down and bobby pin it so when it dries it's a little straighter and more manageable. S'what I do. But I'm a girl. Anyways...

Good luck with your luscious mane.

Any hair style ideas for long, thick, curly hair?

I have long, thick, curly hair, so I am experienced with this stuff....If you want to leave it down I would recommend herbal essences "totally twisted" hair mousse and shampoo and conditioner. You can always straighten it, too. Or you could do braids. You can also get layers to thin out your hair.

Any hair style ideas for long, thick, curly hair?

braids always worked for me. I'd also use a clip and pull back the front of my hair. Whatever you do, don't give into the ponytail! Ponytails and buns are often an excuse for not having to stress about your hair. However, if you take the time to do something fun and funky, enjoy it! And never leave the house without using anti-frizz. Without it, our hair gets soooo messy! Good luck!

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

I have thick curly hair and i hate it. I don't know what to do with it. When i leave it out it gets frizzy even when i use lots of gel and cream. Help.

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

i also have thick curly hair so i feel your pain!!After a lot of trial and error, here is what works best for me.after I've washed my hair,i add some straightening balm and either blow dry my hair or pull it back into a ponytail til it dries.Once dry,i section my hair and straighten it with my ghd straightener(these are the best around but quite expensive,as long as you get a ceramic straightener you'll be fine).my hair stays straight for days and only becomes curly after I've washed it.if you are unsure of how to use a straightning iron, ask your hairdresser to show you how.

you won't know yourself with smooth, sleek hair!

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

Straighten small sections at a time and use the lowest setting on the straightner. Or spritz damp hair with shine spray. Works for me. Good luck!

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

Thick curly hair is usually a lot harder so what i would suggest is obviously straightening it with a flat iron but before you do so use a chemical straightener or a heat activated one and i would do it in small sections that way the thickness of your hair doesnt cause a problem when you do it.

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

revlon straightener?

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

ponytail

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

well, if its really important, get a Chi hair straightner, its mine and its the best! do it in sections and put the rest of you hair up with a clip, until you r ready for it. this is the best way for me. I hope i helped!

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

I got the Maxi Glide Hair Straightener and the Mini Glides, and they are really great. I got them off a infomercial on t.v. They are expensive but it's a good investment. It also helps frizz. Look them up in the Net.

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

make sure u have protection. and blow dry. hair is easier to straighten that way coz its less thick and heavy. its also better and healthier for your hair. then put a protection (like Motions straightening cream pomade). then section your hairs out. and straighten each one using a straightening brush. when your done, spray a finishing shine spray!! good luck (:

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

Who cares how you look? It's you that counts....

anyway curly hair can look sexy!

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

I towel dry it first, then apply half a handful of Fantasia IC, Corrective Response Complex. This stuff is great! It's a very light oil base which goes on the hair damp. I blow dry it all at once. Apply more Fantasia IC. Then I part my hair into sections by twisting it and clamping it down. I use a pick to untangle then use a hot curler to straighten or curl. I never use a comb or brush, it only breaks and snaps my hair. That's it.

I don't use any unnecessary chemicals for straightening my hair. I tried that one time and it cost me dearly.

How do you straighten or style thick curly hair?

I have curly hair. When I wear my hair curly, I drench my hair in gel, mousse, and hair spray to keep the curls curly. You know you have to do that straight out the shower when your hair is wet. Then let the hair dry and don't mess with it, because breaking the curls makes your poofy. When I straighten it I usually use garnier fructisse's micro fruit oils. Cause you'll need something to defrizz that hair and something to keep your hair moisturized while you straighten it. I always use a flat iron for straightening. Have fun with your hair, a lot of people would die for curly hair. You got the best of both worlds. Good Luck!
