How do you style curly hair after its been tragically layered with a razor and looks like a frizz-ba

First off, I think you should even it out a little. Then, to help the frizz calm down, take a shower with COLD water so your hair doesn't stress, after you get out, towel dry it. Blow drying is a BAD idea. It will leave it most likely as dry as the South Sahara Desert. Afterwards, use a little bit of olive oil in your hair. Massage it throughout your scalp. After you have completed that, get a get or a mousse in it, and scrunch it with the towel (using your hands is very pointless). Later, when it has dried a bit, shake your hair up and down. Get a little air to it. After that, add a little Hairspray, a vualla.

Hope that helps.

I think i have the exact same hair as you, when my hair dries it goes mental. Im pakistani and black.

I use Blue Magic, you should be able to get it at cvs, stop and shop. When you wash your hair make sure you use conditioner and comb your hair through and rinse. Then dont comb/brish your hair after that, if you do it will seperate the curls and cause frizz. Just put a bit of the blue magic on and it should be ok, this works on my hair.

Hope this works. :)

What is the best type of gel or wax for curly hair?

what is the best gel or wax brand or type that you'll recommend for applying to curly thick hair, which is poofy-like? best type which does less damage to your hair and is good for styling such as making spiky hairstyle, for men/boys?

What is the best type of gel or wax for curly hair?

(wella) makes the best products for hair it is the best believe me

What is the best type of gel or wax for curly hair?

dunno bout spiky hair....but to tame ur curls...use liss control by loreal.....it really wrks n softens curly hair...i use it regularly and its goos for the hair...no damage and less hair fall too

What is the best type of gel or wax for curly hair?

first of all, no wax on curly hair. Wax is also useless for spikes.

Second of all, you shouldn't use the same gel while trying to acheive two different results.

To make poofy frizzy hair into soft defined curls, I'd say, put in moouse and scrunch, and then let it air dry or blowdry it with a diffuser. Never brush dry curly hair, only comb it in the shower when you have conditioner in it.

For spiky hair I'd recomnd a maximum hold gel or hairspray like got2b:glued. I used to use it when I had a mohawk and it worked wonders.

What is the best type of gel or wax for curly hair?

wax I don't know, curls rock is a good brand by cat walk

or there is a spray gel by matrix called curl booster.

What is the best type of gel or wax for curly hair?

it depends on what you are trying to achieve? If you are trying to rid the poof than use a heavy gel like isoplus styling gel. If your hair is as curly and as thick as mine than moues will do nothing. I wouldn't advise any wax.

How should you style curly hair?

I don't have time in the morning to blow out my curls and I'm looking for a style that doesn't look too 80's.

How should you style curly hair?

Messy buns look awesome with curly hair...that's how I usually wear my hair. you can always put half back with a barette to keep it out of your face if you want to be wearing it down though, then just put some mousse in it to keep it not frizzy. My sister wears hers half up in a messy bun and the rest down since her hair is thick...

The best website ever for curly hair is http://www.naturallycurly.com they have some ideas and some tips for taking care of your curls.

How should you style curly hair?

I have curly hair (male). Depends how long it is. I use a serum to stop it going frizzy and then just let it go into ringlets. Alot of girls I know use a bandana or somthing to keep it off their face. You could get it straightened, but only use a relaxant method. Yuko is the best. Costs a fortune but gives silky straight hair for 6-8 months.

A lady cut my hair for curly hair and i want my hair thinned!?

Ok so yesterday i told the lady that my hair is very curly and puffy and thick it is!! and i wanted it thinned and she said ok ill thin it some and cut into the curly girl haircut and now my hair is to my shoulders but my curls make my hair shrink up,and its frizzy and what styles should i do? anybody out there like me? All i wanted was my hair to be thin and not puffy i want to be liek other ppl ahhhhh!!! and i want my hair wear i can wear it straight and curly help me please thanks

A lady cut my hair for curly hair and i want my hair thinned!?

I have hair just like yours and I wanted to get my hair thinned too but the hairdresser said I shouldn't because then it would stick out at the top. The answer to this question is that your hair is never gonna be thin and if you want it to resemble being thin then get a really really good hair straightener and when it is straightened it becomes smoother and thinner than usual, so if you want to do that then get a sedu straightener off of folica.com. It is about $100 but it is worth the money and it works way better than the crappy $20 ones at cvs. Also, what helps make your hair less poofy is by not shampooing your hair too often, like only shampoo every four days but condition every day because shampoo takes out the natural oils in your hair and leaving them in longer will weigh your hair down. One more thing, if you really want to wear your hair down curly go to naturallycurly.com and they have some helpful tips and they have some good products there too, but they are sort of dumb because everywhere on their site it says embrace your curls blah blah blah dont wear it straight blah blah blah which is not really good advice but you should still give it a try. Hope this helps!

A lady cut my hair for curly hair and i want my hair thinned!?

I have that same hair. You don't want it to be thinned out if it is like mine cause it will make it puff more toward the top and the pieces that she thinned will stick out. Mine is to my shoulders right now and I hate it to but I just use some redken ant snap and gel and hairspray to keep it tamed down until it groes out. The longer it gets the better it is bout poofing. But remember to get layers not to short though.

A lady cut my hair for curly hair and i want my hair thinned!?

my cousin had the same problem my grandma had to go through her hair and thin it alot and then she went to a hair salon and the used this like straightener stuff that kept it like that for like 3 months

please help! :)

How do I get my hair wavy/curly like this....please help!?

wash it the day before (hair curls better if its not just washed)

blow dry it after you wash it (if its frizzy you might want to straighten it)

the next day take a large barrel curling iron and curl the pieces you want curled (make sure to use hair spray to keep the curls in place)

good luck, hope i helped!

How do I get my hair wavy/curly like this....please help!?

Wash it with Pantene and condition it, then put in those hot rollers leave it for at least 5 hours, then use wide comb to loosen up the curl. Concentrate more on the top of your head that way you could leave loose curls at the end of your hair. And voila! you have that perfect look .I suggest you use a spray at the end to keep the look fresh and radiant

How do I get my hair wavy/curly like this....please help!?

Use large barrel curling iron. Do not curl all the way to the root of the hair, only curl the iron up to ear-level. After curling all your hair gently finger mousse throughout. This helps hold the curl and significantly tones down the curling-iron look making it appear more natural. If your hair does not hold curl you might use hairspray on each section as you are curlilng in addition to the final moussing. If your hair is frizzy you can also use a straightner from root to end to ensure the top part of your head doesn't look like a frizz ball. And a side zig-zag part really adds volume when wearing hair down.

How do I get my hair wavy/curly like this....please help!?

her hair is hair extentions you can tell by the way her hair sits in separate clumps

non greasy hair wax ie:Badazz stuff or chi pliable polish big hot rollers and hairspray is one way

How do I prevent my curly hair from being flat on the top?

I've always had very curly hair. I style it by simply putting in some light mousse and scrunching it while wet, and then letting it air dry. This has always resulted in great curls. However, my hair has recently become much more straight. I'm using all of the same products and shampoo and don't know why this is happening. I miss my curls! It is still pretty curly at the bottom, but the top is almost completely straight. Any styling advise to bring the curls back?

Cut your hair into a pixie!

I used to have the SAME thing, wackey, spiral curly hair that I nothing to do with. I cut it into a pixie this summer (i.e. Selma Blair, Agyness Deyn) and its the best ever! I still maintain that curling effect but now it curls perfectly into a 20's S-wave. It's gorgeous. If you have a great face shape and are not too insecure, then go for it!

Suggestions for Naturally curly hair....?

Any suggestions on new hair styles I could try? I have naturally curly hair and have been wearing it in a ponytail, I have bangs in front that I curl with a curling iron...I used to use Rave Mousse for my hair but disliked how it turned my hair in to a hardened mass of curls...I am now using a frizz reducer which seems to be helping... I have worn this hair style for about 12 years now and could use a change...

Suggestions for Naturally curly hair....?

Don't straighten your hair it's too much hassel and it just messes it up....Besides there are tons of people that have straight hair that want curly... the best advice I can give you is if you can get an even hair cut with subtle layers in the front of your hair no shorter than your chin. Also I use the suave mousse that 99cts (purple with the green label) I use it when my hair is wet and it doesn't make my hair hard and rope like as the rave mousse does infact after 5 or 6 hours it gets really shiny and nice. Also when you untangle you hair in the shower once you get out and towel dry just brush right through it with a comb but do not allow the curls to frizz up and when you put alot of mousse scrunge your hair with your palms so your curls can get bouncy goodluck...

Suggestions for Naturally curly hair....?

get the chi turbo 2 inch and straighten it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suggestions for Naturally curly hair....?

chemically straighten it and get a fringe

Suggestions for Naturally curly hair....?

First of all, I pity you. I also have that same naturally curly hair but mine is naturally curly and thick! So I know what your dealing with. I also have had that same style until I kept trying different stylists and found one who actually helped me. I still wear my hair in a ponytail when I don't need to dress up, but on the days that I do, this is what I do. I wash my hair with a shampoo that helps with breakage, condition it with something that has Vitamin E, then comb it out (with a large tooth comb) then put in a leave in conditioner(anyone will do), then scrunch it, spray with spray gel, blow dry til it's just damp and your done. Just a piece of advice, bangs with our type of hair isn't the best way to go, it just makes our hair worse. Also remember, the shorter our hair, the more it will poof out so it's best to let it grow out.And go with the curl, don't fight it trust me you won't win, it's better to just go with what you got. As for straightening it, it's OK but you won't get perfect results. It looks good until it gets wet, but the best straightener to go with is a ceramic iron. Good luck, I hope all of this helps..

Suggestions for Naturally curly hair....?

try straighting it for a day, if you like how it looks, than you can keep doing it, if not, try finding a new styling product that might shape your curls differently. even try braiding your hair when you get out of the shower and taking it out in the morning. the curls are really pretty and a different type of curls.

I have long curly hair.i need to know how to make it look nice?

i cant style my hair to save my life

I have long curly hair.i need to know how to make it look nice?

I know what you mean, I have medium lenght curly hair and it use to be wayy down my back. But the key is when it's wet condition it of course then you comb out all of the tangles then divide it and braid it into neat sections, let it air dry for as long as you like, if you do it at night and take them out in the morning, your hair should be just fine. Touch it up with your favorite mousse and call it day, your finished!

I have long curly hair.i need to know how to make it look nice?

If you can afford it, you can get it permanently relaxed, it costs about $700, but it stays straight no matter what until it grows out. You can try cutting it to your shoulders, then it will be really easy to straighten with a round brusj and hairdryer.

I have long curly hair.i need to know how to make it look nice?

misery loves company. so here i am. I have the exact same problem. I have thick long curly hair. I find products from treseme help define curls. Also,(its an oldie but a goodie)Long Aid curl activator will have your hair sooooooooo slick you wont have to use it that often.Be proud of your spiraling locks. Lots of people want what you have.

What hair cut is best for curly hair?

I have a head of full, curly, wavy and thick hair, that I normally get straightened every two months. I have been getting my layers reshaped while straight but when it reverts to its curly S pattern, it looks weird and isn't loose or free. Instead, the curl pattern isn't definite and it looks bulky and thick, and I'm sure it's because of the longer layers growing out on top.

Is there anyone with a nice curly hair cut/style/layers and can anyone tell me how I should get it cut to frame my face. My hair is shorter in the front and long in the back (I have V-shaped layers).

Thanks

What hair cut is best for curly hair?

I have V-haped layers too, but the longest part of my hair comes halfway down my back and the shortest comes down to my shoulders. Try out new hairstyles and see what works for you!

IDK????????

What hair cut is best for curly hair?

I would have your hair a little bit longer than shoulder length, with 3 layers about every inch. In the front I would have bangs just above your nose. This way you can leave it curly and it will be cute, or you can straighten it and it will be cute. Also try some defrizzers. They can really help.

Styles for natural extremely curly Afro hair? I do not want to relax or perm it. Please Help!!?

My hair is a type 4b curl. ( if you click this link and scroll down to the bottom two pictures, that is type 4b hair shown long and short. These pics are NOT me, but that's my type of hair! http://www.nappturality.com/modules/wfse... I have relaxed it and worn extensions for years and that has resulted in so much breakage and damage that I recently had to shave it down to about 1/4 inch all over. Now it's grown out to about an inch and I have no idea how to style it! I'm wearing it in a close crop afro (teeny weeny afro) for now but would like to venture out to twists or cornrows something similar. Any advice, products, or websites that can help me? Have you had a similar hair experience? Thanks for your time and answers.

have you checked motowngirl.com? I agree with the above poster, when my hair was that short i wore comb twists, and as they got old it looked like a highly textured TWA. If you want it to look curly you could try Curling Custard or Miss jessie's curly pudding. Also you could get a few cute hats. I like berets and beanies on bad hair days.

use paul mitchell foaming pomade... maybe around the hairline use shining pomade as this will help defrizz and control the hairline. add shine.

You could do some comb twists. They would look really cute! You can go to my salon website to get an idea of what they would look like if you'd like http://absolutstyle.tripod.com Just go to the "braids, twists and dreadlocs" page. There are 2 clients there and one of them has the short twists. Good luck and hang in there!!

Buy white people's hair to make a cool wig. Patch together blonde, red, and light brown colours together to make like some cool punk-rock, new-waver, mesh. If you work at a barber shop, you can save the good pieces and wash and patch them together later on.

Look at the shape of your head. If it is symmetrical, you might look lovely with a close cropped do that follows your head's shape. It is easy to keep looking good and allows you to show off earrings and other jewelry well. You might investigate changing your hair color but do it professionally first.

Does anyone will naturally curly hair have an answer for this one...?

i can style my hair ( using gel or moose or spritz ) to not frizz

my problem is summer time.. when im in / near the water

when that product rinses out .. my hair will be fine IN the water.. but the moment im out and it starts to dry.. i look like a hair monster.. any ideas?

Does anyone will naturally curly hair have an answer for this one...?

You should wash your hair in a curl boosting shampoo. Even though product rinses out in the water, shampoo doesn't normally. In fact, you notice you can kinda feel the shampoo in your hair when you're swimming. Try SunSilk brand Curl Boosting Shampoo.

Does anyone will naturally curly hair have an answer for this one...?

go to a stylist and get a relaxer..Its like a perm but a straight perm and it helps with frizzness..basically adds smoothness

Does anyone will naturally curly hair have an answer for this one...?

just tie it up or bring some product with you so once you get out of the water you just put it on...i usually just leave right away take a shower, do my hair then go back to the beach or pool if im done swimming cuz i have the same problem!

Does anyone will naturally curly hair have an answer for this one...?

i've run into this problem too.. usually when i'm in/around water i pull my hair up either in a ponytail or french braids.. so that way when it starts to dry it's at least a little bit managable.. either that or i have to scrunch gel into my hair when i'm finished around the pool..

it'd be awesome if there was a product that we could buy for our naturally curly hair.. that after putting it in.. it would keep the curly hair nice even in high humidity %26amp; around water.. i don't know of any products like this tho'.. if you find one.. let me know!

good luck!

Does anyone will naturally curly hair have an answer for this one...?

bring a scarf or small hair towel along with you. you can use it to wrap you hair while its wet and still look chic - like a turban. the above answers are great too!

Does anyone will naturally curly hair have an answer for this one...?

My hair is naturally curly and I wear it shoulder length and straighten it daily with a flat iron. But when I am out swimming or doing something physical where it's going to get wet, it curls up.

What I do, is get a layered cut that will still look straight when flat ironed but when it is wet, my curls look good too.

If I left it completely the same length all over, I would just have these stupid looking matted curls when wet. But with the longer layers, they curl and look decent. Now to figure out what to do with the bangs. lol

Does anyone will naturally curly hair have an answer for this one...?

before you get in the water use a good frizz control product and if possbile have one nearby so when you get out you can rub it through your hair,

when all else fails put it in a tight bun :)

Does anyone will naturally curly hair have an answer for this one...?

This might sound gross, but don't shampoo your hair too much... it just frizzes it out. Always always always condition it. Try rubbing a bit of conditioner in your hair before it is dry and it will help calm it down. Moisture in your hair is key to keeping it frizziless.

By the way, Lush has this super yummy solid conditioner that really helps keep the curls separate. It is called Jungle and it rocks, but I don't recommend it at the beach even though it needs very little rinsing.

Aubrey makes a couple of really nice conditioners for frizzies that work well if just left on and used sparingly. I like Island Naturals, just a little dab. You have to get Aubrey at the health food store.

Does anyone will naturally curly hair have an answer for this one...?

I take some of my hair products with me so i can fight the frizz imedialty.. i have such bad frizz most of the time unless i fight it.

OR, what works for me is twisting my hair, then putting it up in a bun, all twisted. However, you can wear this for over 10 hours and still have your hair wet inside.

Getting Wavy or curly hair?

get some curl enhancing stuff at drugstore and use that! u just put that in your hands and rub it in and scrunch your hair...it will bring out lil curly/wavy things and then u can curl just a lil bit of hair w/ curling iron and then wait for like a minute and then u just run your fingers through your hair to loosen up the curls and make look awesome like that! yay! lol

oh and blow dry if you want

oh ya and u might want to hairspray it!

ya i kno what it's like to have straight straight hair that takes FOREVER to curl! lol

閳绢櫘ope it helped

Getting Wavy or curly hair?

For waves. towel dry hair after a shower and braid tight overnight. In the morning, finger comb your hair. Don't use a brush or you'll straighten it out again. For curls, use rollers, curling iron, or curly shampoo. Panteen ProV or Herbal Essences Curl Envy work really well. Pull curls gently to loosen them.

Hope that helps and good luck.

Getting Wavy or curly hair?

you can wet set it

wash and towel dry your hair

then put a roller and some setting lotion (i use lotta body by cream of nature

and sit under the dryer for 45 min

in the morning tke the rollers out in a sercular motion and put some moose on there( loreal paris studio springing curls moose)

Getting Wavy or curly hair?

After you have washed it, go ahead and dry it like you normally would. After its completely dry, use mousse, gel or any other setting lotion, run it through your hair and then put your hair in a pony tail and twist the pony. Once its all twisted, pin it into a loose bun. Use you blowdryer on a hot setting, aiming it at the bun. After a few minutes, use the coolest setting. Carefully pull out the pins and the pony tail. Make sure your hair is completely cooled off and then gently run your fingers through it. Finish with hairspray and you should be good to go.

Getting Wavy or curly hair?

afta u wash ur hair...try tie ur hair to curl till ur hair gettin dry...then u'll get smooth curl to ur hair...

Getting Wavy or curly hair?

Try a diffuser attachment for a blow-dryer with a bit of curl-enhancing product. Work the product from the ends of your hair and up, but DO NOT work it into your roots. Otherwise your scalp will look greasy. After your hair is dry, cool it with the cool setting on your dryer to seal the hair shaft. Use a hairspray for hold if your hair is fine. Unfortunately, if your hair is naturally straight and fine, you may never get the curls you want without getting a body perm.

Getting Wavy or curly hair?

wash hair, towel dry, put setting lotion through and then set your hair using magnetic or plastic mesh salon type rollers, leave to air dry or sit under a hooded drier, when hair is completly dry and cooled down if using bonnet dryer remove rollers carefully, shake head upside down and use fingers to seperate your curls into style that you desire

alternate size of rollers to create either curls or waves, small rollers make tight curls and large/jumbo sized rollers create loose curls and waves and also give some volume

Happy hair setting, You could also set your hair at night and sleep in rollers so that you hair looks great the next morning although it can be a bit uncomfortable at first until you get used to it and remember to use a net a scarf to keep your rollers in place while you try to get to sleep

Getting Wavy or curly hair?

i have the same type of hair u have! wat i do is i take a bit of baby oil n apply it onto my hair from top to the tips..apply evenly..then juz plait ur hair right to the end tightly n tie with a rubber band. it works really well n if u wanna get rid of it juz wash ur hair n comb as usual.the best thing is results are as good as curling irons minus the damage to ur hair. my frens thought i curled my hair! i learned dis accidentally after a new hair rule in my school where all long hair has to be plaited up neatly.lol

Getting Wavy or curly hair?

roller set your hair when it is damp with some setting lotion or mousse and let it air dry before removing rollers and then tease your curls into place with your fingers

use large rollers for waves and small to medium rollers for curls

My hair is curly and long I need some advise on how to keep it straight?

do you know how? please help me find a hair style

My hair is curly and long I need some advise on how to keep it straight?

SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONERS WILL NOT WORK...TRUST I'VE TRIED. my haairr is REALLY REALLY REALLY curlly, i sug=gest a flat iron, (not a straigtner, flat iron = better) dont get anything cheaper than 25-30 retail price, if its on sale then go for it! n also oil sheen in a can. it is a LARGE BRIGHT PINK CAN found in the hair section for "african americans" but be happy with the hair you have. and dnt use too much oil sheen it will look greasy especially if your white

My hair is curly and long I need some advise on how to keep it straight?

Have a profesionally but a straighter on it

My hair is curly and long I need some advise on how to keep it straight?

dampen hair, use mouse, straighten, hairspray. that shoudl work but remember to hairsray many times in order to keep it straight. have a good shapoo becuase you want to wash all thae stuff otu afterwards

My hair is curly and long I need some advise on how to keep it straight?

Use magic straight or something; it really works! It's pretty expensive, though.

My hair is curly and long I need some advise on how to keep it straight?

i use smooth and sleek by pantene pro-v. it's really good. they have shampoo's and conditioners, and also styling products that work really good. i bought this smooth and sleek cream that smells soo good and it works. it keeps your hair straight and smooth. i also suggest you use a blow drier and comb to get your hair straight. keeping the blow dryer facing down. also don't forget to use a really good straightener. i use vidal sasson. it's pretty good. good luck!

My hair is curly and long I need some advise on how to keep it straight?

whatever you do, do not ever try rebonding it,,, you're hair will be soon dry and frizzy!

My hair is curly and long I need some advise on how to keep it straight?

seek for a salon that works on hair straigthening... but remember that hair straightening salon doesnt always end up with perfect result...

let them examine your hair strand before you decide and what the result will be after...try hair rebonding, it works perfectly, BUT, let me tell you,

if you have dyed your hair for one time, chances are hair rebonding can damage your hair... so it's still up to the salon expert to let her fingers do the

miracle...

My hair is curly and long I need some advise on how to keep it straight?

get layers and use herbal essence pin straight shampoo%26amp;%26amp;conditioner it smells really good and weighs hair down so it's easier to straighten...and layers help make it quicker...

My hair is curly and long I need some advise on how to keep it straight?

Try a product called Straighten Out from FX Special Effects. You can pick it up at any Walgreens or CVS. You'll love it!

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

So, I have very thick, curly hair that is extremely difficult to manage. I've formed a temporary truce with it, but was just wondering what you people with similar hair do? (shampoo, conditioner, product, styling, different cuts, anything!)

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

My sister ties it back tight in a ponytail on normal days and when going out, she might wear it down, big and curly or have the messy look with curls coming out on her face (which I cant stand)

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

i use herbal essence straighening shampoo, and frizz eaze stuff, and then straighten it, that makes it so unbelievable thin

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

I have really thick curly hair that goes mad out of control but i wash it every other day with tresseme shampoo and conitioner and if i straighten it i use tresseme straightenin spray...i neer have it down cuz its to hard to keep under control but a nice side ponytail with a quiff always works for me ! good Luck !!

=]

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

i would get it short like a little above my shoulders and get some layers cut off and make the curls really curly and dye it a redish brownish color and seperate the curls to give a cute look.. MY COUSIN JUST PUTS IT UP IN A BUN WITH LITTLE BANGS AND SHORT CURLS COMING OURFROM EACH SIDE..or she ties it in a high pony...

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

shave it off, maybe?

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

I've had luck with hair products with silicone in them to make it sleeker and prevent frizz. I don't shampoo very often. When I get in the shower I just rinse it well then put in conditioner. Shampoo really dries it out and curly hair needs to build up some of the natural oils. I've had my hair short in the past and that didn't work well for me because it stuck out too much. With longer hair, there's more weight to it. In the summer when it's hot I wear pigtails or I clip it up in a bun to keep it off my neck. Also, I never, ever use heat to style it because it just makes it a mess. I don't brush it either. I just run my fingers through when it's wet and then I let it airdry and leave it alone.

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

I used to have looong hair b4 and I always thought it was only wavy hair and it was very unmanageable and frizzy too. But I cut my hair to chin length few months back and noticed that it was CURLLLY. Then I started using garnier fructis curl and shine system to manage the frizz and stuff. I now have shoulder length hair and am planning on growing it long again but now I see that my hair is much more softer and less frizzy than b4.

Although you might not want a different hair cut or style, you might want to try garnier fructis curl and shine shampoo, conditioner and leave-in-conditioner. Also, I rarely use blow dryer too since it causes more frizz. And I use the garnier fructis hair spray for special occasions only.

Also, I shampoo and condition hair once a week but use leave-in conditioner everyday though. And I try not to brush too much since it seems to cause frizziness. I mainly style with my fingers after using the leave-in conditioner.

Good luck with your hair!

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

Wash it. It's not so much what I do with it but what other people do with it. My thick curls get molested on a regular basis.

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

i love garnier curls and shine. they also have a leave in conditioner cream that i use and love.

the best thing to do is wash your hair in the shower and add conditioner. leave it for a few minutes then use a pick comb and comb it out. then when your out of the shower add a strengthening balm or a leave in conditioner. then add a cream based curl setting styling product to finish it off. the best way to encourage your hair to dry with separate curls is to use a hair drier with a diffuser. the diffuser makes a huge difference

if you go to a hair salon and you get someone who is experienced with cutting curly hair they can do something called thinning. they don't use thinning shears, but it's a way they cut into your hair to add volume while thinning it out and taking away bulk!

hope this helps!

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

I'm not sure but when you find out LET ME KNOW! ! ! ! ! ! !

cuz I have thick curly hair too....and it needs some serious help.

But so far I just straighten mine. It takes forever but It works and I can leave it like that for a while...and I can do different stuff with it when its straight.

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

I wash my with conditioner every 2 days or so.I put moisterizing jelly by aubrey organics in my hair, it doesn`t have strong hold. The other times i was always using IC gel but i don`t want to use it anymore because it makes my hair white,Some people brush the gel into the hair, but its not a good idea to brush hair while its wet, brushing isn`t good for curly hair anyway.

What do you do with your thick, curly hair?

i put mine back in a pony tail, braid, or bun most of the time use alot of shampoo and very small amount of conditioner that's what i do and i have extremely thick curly brown hair.

I need help with curly/wavy/frizzy hair. I have no idea what to do with it.?

I have hair past my shoulders and it is curly but more curly on the bottom 3/4 than the top 1/4. Right now it is just cut in a line not layered or anything. For school I usually straighten it but I would rather wear it curly. My hair tends to be very frizzy. I have very thin hair. I have used moose and gel in my hair but it still turns out frizzy. I am not a morning person at all, I am hoping to find a hair cut and style that I can do before I go to bed and maybe scrunch it in a bun while I sleep so that it while be easy to do it the morning.

I would also like to know if you have any links to websites that could help me.

So I am basically looking for:

Hair Cut

How to stlye

Products to use

Websites

Frizz control

Thanks

I need help with curly/wavy/frizzy hair. I have no idea what to do with it.?

I recommend perming it totally if you want it to be more 'controlled'. A cut: I suggest layers...long layers. Layers will help. I also recommend volumizing shampoo. Highlights always accent any cut. Styling: Use Sprunch spray AUSSIE. It works as a hair spray and styling aid. It doesn't take long to do this style...just scrunch and go. You can even put hair in a ponytail and scrunch and go. It's a wonderful product.

I need help with curly/wavy/frizzy hair. I have no idea what to do with it.?

leave it down, put it up or Braid it

I need help with curly/wavy/frizzy hair. I have no idea what to do with it.?

to make my hair not so frizzy, i use garnier fructis anti-frizz serum when my hair is still damp. it also leaves an extra shine

I need help with curly/wavy/frizzy hair. I have no idea what to do with it.?

Okay what you do is you cut your hair to right above your shoulders then you go to beauty salon (anyone will do) so you ask if they have products for frizz ( which they normally do) and once you cut your hair you take a small curling iron and curl out the bottoms good idea huh?

I need help with curly/wavy/frizzy hair. I have no idea what to do with it.?

wel use hair products n wut works best ( cuz i hav the same prblem 2 ) is hair grease that u can but in ah store like cvs or target

I need help with curly/wavy/frizzy hair. I have no idea what to do with it.?

if you get it layered its easier to curl. use product specifically for yor hair loreal anti frizz shampoo and condtioner aussie gel is great as is umberto gianni or bed head. maybe you could put wet plates in your hair before you go to bed and take them out for morning

I need help with curly/wavy/frizzy hair. I have no idea what to do with it.?

There is a product called Frizz-ease that will tame the frizz. They also have anti frizz shampoo and conditioner that will help. I have noticed that with my hair if I wash it and brush when its wet, then don't brush it once it's dry that the frizziness doesn't occur.

I need help with curly/wavy/frizzy hair. I have no idea what to do with it.?

okay use sunsilk.. either the green for poofy hair.. or the blue thats for hair that gets frizzy as it dries.. and also buy the cream.. let your hair get longer.. go to the sunsilk website.. to find out more

Whats the best way for a guy with curly hair that is growing longer to style it?

What should he use in it, should he slick it back and let it hang down in front, and how should he apply it (to wet or dry hair). Does blow drying do anything?

Whats the best way for a guy with curly hair that is growing longer to style it?

First off, I LOVE guys with short curly hair! I would suggest:

1. Wash and condition your hair

2. Comb through your hair thoroughly while the conditioner is in

3. Lightlly towel dry it

4. Scrunch it with a mild hold moose

5. Use a diffuser to gently blow dry it while retaining your curls

I had a "poodle" like perm and after a hairstylist butchers my hair and left it uneven and SHORT, this is what I had to do to style it. It should look nice on you.

Good luck! :)

Whats the best way for a guy with curly hair that is growing longer to style it?

yes

Would guys be interested in a girl with curly hair?

Everyone always notices my friends with layered dead straight hair--espicially guys.

I have long loose curly hair.

Can that still be cool??

It always look kinda messy 'cause i can't bursh it or else it goes really frizzy. I finger comb it.

Does anyone have the same problem?

I leave it down often.

Anyone know a good style for girls with long loose curly hair??

thanks =]

Im 13 buy the way =]

Would guys be interested in a girl with curly hair?

Long, curly hair is most beautiful on a girl. Be thankful you naturally have that gift. Most girls need to pay a fortune to get a perm but for you it's a gift from God!

Would guys be interested in a girl with curly hair?

Curly hair is very pretty, and its really pretty to scrunch :)

Would guys be interested in a girl with curly hair?

hell yeah! they're the most attractive i think.. definately

Would guys be interested in a girl with curly hair?

When I was in school I had the same issue i have super curly kinky hair and all the guys would tell me that they knew i would look good with straight hair and i thought it was weird but yea i bought a flat iron and started flat ironing my hair and wow my look changed completely.. I looked way better... YOU SHOULD TRY IT!!!

Would guys be interested in a girl with curly hair?

It makes no difference

My personal opinion is that you should let it hang, but that is a completley personal opinion. Long, curly, loose hair is simply the best.

Luckily guys have all sorts of favorites on this one.

Would guys be interested in a girl with curly hair?

if its long and loose it could be pretty. if you ever watch "life of ryan" on mtv, that new girl hes dating has that type of hair and is gorgeous! but guys do prefer straight hair most of the time.

Would guys be interested in a girl with curly hair?

always interested

Would guys be interested in a girl with curly hair?

Would you be interested in a guy with curly hair? Sure, straight hair you can run it through your fingers, but curly is cute!

so yeah.

im great @ this jkjk.

Hair styles????

dont change it! your hair is gorgeous!

Hair styles????

Have you ever thought about darkening your hair just a bit, to a honey kind of color, or an auburn? I think it would look nice.

Also to try different styles, blow dry straight.

You can also cut into choppy layers w/ bangs; a lot of people want them right now.

Hair styles????

I love your hair the way it! Tons of girls would kill for it! I think you are too young to color your hair--- I would keep it the way you have it, maybe add bangs if you really want. Your hair looks too good, don't ruin it!

Hair styles????

If you have the patient to straight your hair it may look good to cut it by the length of your chin and do a straight fringe. Kind of like Rihanna has in the second picture (http://www.prohaircut.com/trendy-hair-cu...

My mother has that kind of hairstyle but even when she does not straight it and it gets wavy like your it looks greats.

I think It would fit you well ;)

Hair styles????

i love you hair it is so cute but if you wanna change it try strait hair and go a little darker with some layers and maybe blond highlights.

Hair styles????

i think you should keep one side fringe and the other sider straight

Hair styles????

i think you should put some honey highlights then straighten it

Good Clothes and Hair Styles for Me?

I'm looking for some recomendations for some cute, flattering clothes and hair styles for me.(and maybe even makeup ideas if you can)

I'm 5'1", 90 lbs, with no chest

My hair is medium longish-brown, thick, curly(but not a ton of curls or those perfect corkscew curls), and frizzy

I like abercrombie, american eagle, juicy couture, so-lows, hardtail and things similar to that

Any ideas?

Have you thought about calling a Beauticontrol consultant? There is a questionnaire they offer that will be able to help you find the best clothing, hairstyle, glasses, and accessories for your body shape and style personality.

Good Clothes and Hair Styles for Me?

hair-- (mine is similar) i usually only shampoo once a week to cut down on frizz, i put conditioner in it afterwards and don't rinse it (just about a quarter sized though) then i put scrunching gell in it. it helps

Good Clothes and Hair Styles for Me?

We have almost identical appearances! Except I'm 3 inches taller and 5 pounds heavier. People like us look really good in tight, fitted pants and skirts (like Hardtails, So-Lows, tight jeans, etc...) and looser tops. I definitely reccommend Lucky Brand Jeans.

Good Clothes and Hair Styles for Me?

oh you are so petite!

you can pull of pretty much anything you want. but be exciting!

only thing to be careful of is cropped trousers or jeans. they will make you look stumpy!

You should have your hair professionally straightened. you know that permanent kind. but dont cut it. cos hair always looks nicer long. especially on shorted ladies like us. you should have it framed around your face though cos you dont want it to look like your drowning in your hair!

but you are lucky (like me) to have no chest. it means you can wear any top you want (within reason) and where you arent showing off cleavage - you dont look like a slut! wah hey!

i think you should try get some of those corsette jeans. you know the ones with the high waist. then you could wear any top you want with it.

Good Clothes and Hair Styles for Me?

Well because you are a "flat chested" try wearing stuff that will accent your lower half like tight pants or really cute faded ripped jeans that will go with your brown hair you can get those at abercrombie, american eagle, and the other places you named. so lows are perfect for you try and find a sleeveless hoodie from juicy thats loose so it will make you look larger and because you are so small it will accent your thin frame. hope you find what ur looking for!

Need a new style for curly hair?

I'm a 31 year old mom of 3 and I have long hair (just below shoulder length) that is a mixture of curly and wavy (curly on top, wavy underneath). I haven't had it cut for 6 months because I've been trying to grow it out - but now I don't know what to do with it! I need a new style, but I'm not sure what would work. I've had it short before and I looked too old - someone thought I was ten years older! Any ideas? (pics would be great)

Need a new style for curly hair?

My hair is the exact same but longer. I know what you are going through. I had my hair cut in layers and it added more volume but at the same time gave me a fresh look without having my hair to short. It makes it a lot easier to put it up in cute pony tails too :) Good luck

Need a new style for curly hair?

i know being a mother of three doesnt give you much time to 'do' your hair, but try cutting it shoulder length and straighten it with a CHI straightener. also, you can try to use shampoo's that help straighten your hair, like Herbal Essences pin straight shampoo. sorry if im no help.

Any way to style really curly hair so that it's wavy???? not permanently either?

i have really curly hair and i really want it to be wavy sometimes but i would never get a perm because i love it curly sometimes. but is there any way to style it so that its not smooth and straight but kind of textured and wavy without just looking like i didnt finish straightening it? cause i think wavy ponytails are sooo pretty and i can't ever have them =/ can anybody give me some tips? thanks in advance.

Any way to style really curly hair so that it's wavy???? not permanently either?

I do the same thing. I bought a set of large size hot rollers. First, I brush through my hair and put in some mousse, hairspray, whatever you like for some texture. Then I put all my hair in the rollers for about 30 min. Take them out, brush your fingers through to break up waves, and viola...beautiful waves.

Any way to style really curly hair so that it's wavy???? not permanently either?

maybe straighten it??

Ways to style my curly hair?

I have curly hair. And I would like to know different types of ways I can style it. I usually brush it after a shower and put mouse and hairspray in it and let it dry it looks really pretty or i'll take a headband and put it in a messy bun. Once in a while i'll straighten it. And also put it in half up half down. But i'm kinda sick of doing those things so I wanted to know if there were any types of hairstyles I could try out

Thanks a bunch!

Ways to style my curly hair?

Well a style that my best friend wears often is to pull it into a low side ponytail. Create a side part, and if you have side bangs, pull them to the same side as the ponytail is on. It's an easy %26amp; simple way to look cute!

Best Regards,

Katie

Here's a link that may be helpful to you, alot to chose from, and just in time for summer ;)

How do i work with with extremely curly hair?!!!! help!?

I am part african american, and half latino. so my hair is thick, VERY curly(no waves at all), always looks dry, and very hard to work with. i have tried almost every product out there, and nothing seems to work. I sometimes just want to straighten it, but i'v been told that it only dries my hair even more, and i dont get that shiny look either. If u have any advice, on what products to use, or what styles i can do with my hair, it would help a whole lot!!! thanx!

How do i work with with extremely curly hair?!!!! help!?

I am part African American and part white, so I can sympathize with your curl dilemma. I always get compliments on my curly hair. This is my daily hair routine:

Completely wet your hair in the shower. Now, the key is to not rub your head with the towel. That causes frizziness when you dry it. You need to squeeze all of the excess water out of your hair. Then, I usually rub some moisturizer in my hair. (I use Caroline's Daughter Mimosa anti-frizz moisturizer.) Then, I take some mousse (Tresemme, John Frieda - any kind is fine. But, since you have super dry hair, get one that says "mousterizing mousse" on it.) and rub it through your hair. Be sure to get COMPLETE coverage with the mousse. Once it is all in my hair, I will shake it a bit, situate the curls, and then let it airdry. If you have time, you may want to dry it for about 2 minutes, but the key is to let it air dry. That significantly reduces the frizz. But, all in all - this is my regimen. I have NEVER met anyone with curly hair that didn't get good results from this.

How do i work with with extremely curly hair?!!!! help!?

- use mosturising shampoo and conditioner like hello hydration by herbal essences

- do deep condtioning using pantene oil replacement, loreal hair mask or kerastase on weekly basis

- use sunsilk's straighten-up leave-in conditioner, or john frieda's frizz-ease after washing u hair

- use straightener to remove the curls and wave and diivde ur hair into 2 parts.

- do tiny corn rolls in the front half and curl the end of the rolls and the rest of the hair at the back

- spray it so hold the curls so that they dont poof

How do i work with with extremely curly hair?!!!! help!?

You could use conditioner in the shower, and then when you straighten your hair you could use the new spray they have that makes your hair shiny.

How do i work with with extremely curly hair?!!!! help!?

If you can spend the money (it costs around $500 and up), I'd recommend Japenese Hair Straightening, aka thermal hair reconstruction.

How do i work with with extremely curly hair?!!!! help!?

i also have very curly hair. and i understand what your problem is. I straighten my hair daily but when i do go curly i wash it with regular conditioner and put a towel over it until its nearly dry. then i let the rest air dry.

after its good i put gel in it but not to much ..

i usually pen haft up so i get soft curls under.

How do i work with with extremely curly hair?!!!! help!?

dont wash your hair every day because people with curly hair have the driest hair and washing it everyday causes it to become even more dry and when you do wash your hair use conditioner. Comb your hair with a wide toothed comb when its damp and apply a good amount of leave in conditioner in your hair as your combing it. And if you brush your hair when its dry it will end up making your hair even frizzier.

when you blow dry your hair use a deffuser attachment but dont fully blow dry your hair leave it somewhat damp so it does not dry out.

If your going to let your hair air dry then put in some gel and scrunch your hair to tame the curls.

Old reliable for quick and real cute is getting a couple of matching bands (thin) and putting your hair into two equal pony tails on each side of your head, just behind/below your ear lobes. Good luck

It would look cute permed!!

For somthing different, get it rebonded although it can damage your hair. Then cut it short and get a side fringe. You could also put some highlights in it.

Whatever you choose to do will look nice though!

Good Luck

What are some hair styles i could do for this new school year....???

I like to put my hair up with chopsticks. It looks very exotic and it is very comfortable and it stays in place quite well.

What are some hair styles i could do for this new school year....???

well, i love to straighten my hair, i dont do too much with it. you could clip a chunk of it up on top in the middle, you know how you make a little poof? and also, i like to put a ribbon around my hair, pull it up, then put a hair pony around it...it looks different than a regular ponytail...

ps-- i LOVE headbands.

I have very similar hair to him, long and I have the same type of curls. But how would I style my hair to get it that way? What product?

How can I get my curly hair like this? (I'm a guy?)?

Get some good curl defining mousse. (I like Herbal Essences.) Work it into your hair and let air dry. If you need to curl a few pieces with a curling iron to place hair and polish off the look.

How can I get my curly hair like this? (I'm a guy?)?

u can get gel and spike it and fix it da way it looks!

by da way... dat hair style looks really cute!

Different male hair styles?

Does anyone know of any types of hair styles for males that have curly hair?

Different male hair styles?

Let it grow to your shoulders, dye it a dirty blonde all over, then dye it a light brown on top.

Different male hair styles?

My boyfriend has long curly hair. For inspiration he looks at celebs like Orlando Bloom. It is soo hard for him to style it, so he says you have to keep it REALLY short (as in buzzed) or longer, like around his shoulders.

How can my girlfriend get permanently curly hair without the tight perm style?

Unless your girlfriend was born with naturally curly hair, I don't see how she can get "permanently" curly hair now unless she

1 gets a wig

2 gets a loose, big curl perm. But, perms are not permanent. One has to get them every so often to achieve the look they are wanting.

3 has hair extensions put in that are curly.

Other than that, I think she is outta luck. Have her try a curling iron with a large barrel on it. That usually does the trick.

Good luck to you all and God bless!

How can my girlfriend get permanently curly hair without the tight perm style?

She can hve a bit small hair by cutting it, just imagine her look, She will look like very beautiful

How can my girlfriend get permanently curly hair without the tight perm style?

if i remember the process correctly...... the tightness of the curls is somewhat limited by the size of the curlers used when she gets the perm. the rest is covered by the chemicals used. so, in short, larger curlers......... but i do know someone who'd know more, i'll talk to her tomarrow, and if i'm wrong, i'll be back posting crow with the proper answer!

How can my girlfriend get permanently curly hair without the tight perm style?

Shampoo and condition with moisturizing products to hydrate your naturally porous hair and keep it from getting frizzy, Follow with a leave-in conditioner (applied all over) and a bit of styling lotion (applied to ends only). Next, flip hair forward and blow it dry until it's just damp. Finish drying section by section, using a big, round brush. Finally, flat-iron hair to lock in shine.

How can my girlfriend get permanently curly hair without the tight perm style?

she cant she need a perm the size of curl depend of the size of the rod that is use bigger the rod the bigger curl i do hair good luck

How can my girlfriend get permanently curly hair without the tight perm style?

The size of the rod determines the size of the curl. I would generally go with peach or grey rods unless her hair is fine, in which case you should go with the next size smaller than what she wants because fine hair relaxes faster.

How can my girlfriend get permanently curly hair without the tight perm style?

A perm is the only way, but there are different sized rods, she doesn't have to use the really small rods that make tight curls.

Curly hair question please answer?

I'm a teenage girl and have naturally curly hair. What kind of hair styles can i do with it while leaving it down? if you have pictures please post them so i can understand the idea your expressing! if not thats fine:)

Curly hair question please answer?

If your curly hair is easy to style or train, you can try blow drying it straight (it wont be completely straight, but get it straight enough) then use a scrunching gel to make the bigger "beachy" type curls/waves.

Curly hair question please answer?

Usually curly hair looks best just parted down the middle, but if you want to do something new, try straighting it.

Curly hair question please answer?

I have curly hair, too, and I know how hard it is to style and take care of it. This is what I do.

If you have bangs, straighten them- preferably long, side bangs that go just below your cheekbones. If you don't have bangs, I would suggest getting them because you can wear your hair down and curly and still look young.

Then, right after you get out of the shower, put curling mousse or cream in your hair by tilting your head to the side and scrunching your hair with your hands. DON'T bend your head over and scrunch your hair, trust me. I've learned from experience that it makes your hair a lot frizzier.

Keep putting the curling stuff on until it is very saturated and dry it either with a towel or with a hair dryer with a diffuser.

Then after that, spray it with curling spray and scrunch again or just use regular hair spray.

Hope I helped!!

P.S. Part your hair on the side, not in the middle. It will look so good, trust me!! Goodluck

Curly hair question please answer?

My sister has curly hair and she pulls half of it back and 2 stings as bangs. It looks real good. You should try it.

How can I get my relaxed hair to be naturally curly like these styles?

I am black (african american) and have VERY tightly coiled/curled hair naturally. I wear it relaxed/permed. I tried to grow my perm (relaxer) out but my natural hair was just TOO thick and curly. I got frustrated with managing it after 7months and went back to perms. But now I see all these black chicks in commercials %26amp; ppl like Rissi Palmer and Rachel True with nice, bouncy thick curls. I want to get this look. But all the sites I've found are old and only have info about afros and dreadlocks for people with natural hair. I don't want either of those. I want curls!!! Like

Do you know how I can achieve this look? I posted a few links to pics of the style I want.

Any information on products, sites, ect would be helpful. If you don't know, ask someone who you think might know :) Thanks in advance!

How can I get my relaxed hair to be naturally curly like these styles?

Well depending on how strong your relaxer is, you may or may not be able to achieve these looks. Does your hair still have any curl left in it or is it mostly straight? As long as you still have some bend to your hair, then you can do it.

First, use a good shampoo and conditioner that will not frizz your hair - I like Redken and Paul Mitchell. After that, use a leave in product like Biosilk to smooth your hair and add moisture. Then use a thick, heavy mousse like Joico's Joiwhip and put a handful of it in your hair and work it in. Then go in 2-3 inch sections and comb your hair thru with a fine toothed comb. This will help you to form the curl. As you comb it thru, finger curl it around. Do this on your whole head. When you're finished, you'll look like you have a geri-curl (LOL), but don't worry - it gets better. Next, use a hair dryer WITH a DIFFUSER (very important) and dry your hair all over leaving your curls in tact. Don't pull them or stretch them. You may have to squeeze them a little just to set the curls. When your head is COMPLETELY DRY (and not a moment sooner), use your hands to loosen up the curls and pull them apart. VOILA!

How can I get my relaxed hair to be naturally curly like these styles?

I think you should ask your hairdresser, but if u already have...

I wouldn't have a clue, sorry

How can I get my relaxed hair to be naturally curly like these styles?

if you want to keep your relaxer you can braid your hair in small cornrows while wet then take then out after they dry...if you want that with your natural hair, you just have to have that type of curl pattern grow from your head.

What are the best hair products for thick, curly hair?

My hair is very thick and curly, it manages to get tangled to perfection seconds after I detangle it. I need a detangler, a shampoo and conditioner for dry, frizzled hair and something to help style it with. I would greatly appreciate your help. And any other tips you may have to keep it curly or straighten it. Thanks and Happy Halloween!

What are the best hair products for thick, curly hair?

I use the Tresseme line. I haven't found a good detangler yet, but to make my hair more manageable I parted into four and detangle each section and apply vaseline, then I braid each section with three or four braids. So I end up with 12 to 16 braids. When you take the braids down your hair will be nice and curly, shiny and done. Sometimes I put some frizz cream on. I usually do this every Friday night and don't take the braids out until Monday, so the curls stay in better. To straighten I usually just go to the salon and have it put up in rollers and then blow dried straight, that lasts me until I wash my hair. I pay $25 for this and it lasts pretty long. I hope it helps.

What are the best hair products for thick, curly hair?

Head and Shoulders, ThermaSilk, the are the two best! They make ur hair REALY nice. I have realy curly hair so should know

I have a broad forehead n curly hair.wat hair style?

my hair is really stubborn.. i have a realy broad forehead.when i went to a stylist n asked for deep layers.. so dat some hair comes in front n behind my ears so dat it wud conceal my broad forhead.. she said deep layers wont set in my kinda hair n its better i take side partition n tei it up.wat kinda hair cut shud i do?

I have a broad forehead n curly hair.wat hair style?

if you don't have a perm get a curl

I have a broad forehead n curly hair.wat hair style?

With a broad forehead you do not want to wear your hair behind your ears. It puts more emphasis on your forehead. Try a curly style that covers your ears and rounds out your face. By adding the curliness to the sides the focus is off of your forehead.

I have naturally curly hair, but how should I do it for homecoming?

It's strange, most of my friends that are girls like my hair better curly, but guys tend to prefer it straight. It's blonde, about halfway down my back, and I have side bangs. So I was wondering, should I straighten it for homecoming? or leave it curly? and how should I style it?

I have naturally curly hair, but how should I do it for homecoming?

well curly hair is extemely pretty when done right. my hair is like yours except brown. i strightned my hair for homecoming. if its short maybe you should straighten it.

I have naturally curly hair, but how should I do it for homecoming?

you could straighten it . . . or you could do something like this:

(click on the links in the answer)

I have naturally curly hair, but how should I do it for homecoming?

don't know what your face looks like, nor your hair and how you do your hair depends on the dress and how dressed-up you want to look. Hair up looks really good for a prom, and I love curly hair. But don't let the hairdresser overdo it with too much gel etc. You want it to look soft and natural.

Long, curly hair. What style should I opt for....?

I have long, curly hair, till my shoulders. When left open, they go out of control. I don't want to cut them. Neither do I want to tie a ponytail. What should I do

Long, curly hair. What style should I opt for....?

You need to use curl cream. I use Pantene ProV. Physique also has a good one but it's a bit more expensive. Apply to fairly wet (never towel dried!) hair. Scrunch the excess water out with a towel (not too dry) and then scrunch a little more without the towel to get good curls. Don't use too much curl cream or your hair will get crunchy, but if you don't use enough, your hair will stay frizzy.

For hairstyles, you can do pigtail braids for something fun, or for a more professional or night look, take the top half of your hair, flip it up and secure with a clip, then let it hang back down. I do this a lot and like having my hair out of my face, but still down. Hope that helps! :)

Curly hair help. New cut, style and color? pics included?

Ok, here is the problem. I have long curly hair that I straighten on occasion. I use biosilk and a hot iron like the chi. The highlighted parts of hair has started to break off ( I have not highlighted my hair for 6 months now) and the re growth is only 3 to 4 inches long. I don't know what's in for curly hair ( cuts and styles) that can also be straightened and still look good. I am also sick of the color, though natural, I want to try something new. I don't want to have someone else do my hair because no matter where I go or how much I am charged I am not happy with results. They always jack up my hair. Here are a few pics of my hair, please help me with this. Thanks in advance!

Curly hair help. New cut, style and color? pics included?

You have really pretty curls. My hair is naturally frizzy and i use loads of product to weigh it down so its curly. I know what you are talking about with people ruining your hair. One thing I learned to do is ask a person how comfortable they are cutting curly hair first , it draws up so much. The truth is the best person to cut my hair happened to be black. The lady i go to knows how overly curly hair reacts when you cut it. My advice go in knowing your style. Don't let people influence your choice when you are in the chair. That is when i make my biggest mistake

Curly hair help. New cut, style and color? pics included?

If you are in LA, go to Trilogy hair salon in the valley. And use Mixed Chicks products to tame frizz.

Curly hair help. New cut, style and color? pics included?

i have medium length curly hair, and alot of times when i would go get it cut it ended up poofy. i really like my hair now after getting a new type of haircut. i've started getting short layers starting at my chin and it adds curl and bounce to my hair and it looks good when straightened so that might work for you too! good luck!

Curly hair help. New cut, style and color? pics included?

First you need to deep condition your hair ( make sure it has protein in it so your hair stops breaking off). I always look for someone with the same type of hair as mine when I get it cut. No matter what they say not everyone can cut curly hair. If you are sick of coloring it try a glaze. Basically it's something thats going to just brighten your hair, not color it. You could also get a clear shine put on. Neither of these are damaging to your hair and there is no up keep on them. You do them when you want and there is no line when your hair grows in because it's not changing the color of your hair. Hope this helps a little! By the way curly hair with long layers is the look now.

Curly hair help. New cut, style and color? pics included?

well if u are sick of the color dye it burgundy (spelling?) if u dont know wat that color is, just go to the salon and ask to see it and straighten it and cut it up to ur shoulders u will look grate! this is exactly wat happened to my sister. and add some layers or just side swept bangs!

What hairstyles can you do with Curly hair?

always do hair styles which will keep yr curly hairs away fr yr face. try to tie with different different shape clips or bands, which will always give u different look. u will not be bored. if its too puffy dont try to keep it loose. always have simple hairstyles which will tie it properly. u can have pony tails, like one side back side, up or sometimes close to neck etc.

What hairstyles can you do with Curly hair?

mostly all you can do that's easy is what you're already doing but if you want variations try just pulling your hair into pigtails or half up half downs. You can even clip your hair into pigtails or do pigtails with a half up half down. If you really want many choices I would suggest opening a bridal or prom book and checking out those syles. they seem extravagantbut if you think about it most of those girls are working for hours to get hair like ours. The work for elegant hair is cut in half!
