Hey i have curly hair and i want a emo hair style but every time i straighten and i go to school it gets poofy.Is there anyway i can make so that it doesn't poof?

also is there a way i can straighten my hair without frying it?

there could be two issues as to why your hair goes poofy:

I know this may sound weird to you since you're a guy but here's my advice..

1. the straightener you are using is no good. if you are willing to invest into a quality straightener that'll do any job, look for CERAMIC flat irons.

2. use an anti frizz, sleek serum (you can go walmart or something and pick something...go with a girlfriend or ask someone there)
