Curly hair or straight?

My hair is naturally curly. It's pretty healthy, but has no style. I want to straighten it professionally, but I'm worried about permanently damaging my hair. Should I still do it?

I think you should relax your hair at a professional hair salon. It'll damage your hair, of course because everything damages hair, but it won't be that bad.

NO!! I got that done and it does not work, it could damage ur hair, it didn't damage mine. its suppose to make it easier to straighten but it doesn't stay in the humidity. it works really great for the first week then its a hassle. = ]閳?br> message me at kittenfart@hotmail.com

u should get it straightned by a pro, it wont get damaged. My cousin gets her hair professionally straightend sometimes(its not damaged)

I have naturally curly hair too. I got it chemically straightened (reverse perm), but it wasn't worth it. I still had to straighten it all the time (it always curled up with moisture). That was a few years ago. Now if I want it straight I just use a flat iron/giant curling iron (only once in a big while cause I don't want damaged hair). Right now my hair is a little longer than shoulder length with layers. I just put hair serum in it and let it go curly. If you want a change of pace try a really short cut; I did that once and it was really cute (also easier to straighten).

no don't do it proffessionly it costs too much go to the market and buy yourself a straightner,then do it yourself it is cheaper and best and when you want it curled then just put some moose in it

No it will damage your hair. try straihgting with a iron instead.

Curly hair or straight?

NO! Don't do it your hair will fall out little by little and you will not even know it till is to late. It happen to me than it took for ever to grow back. Be very very careful... :{

Don't do it. When I was young I hated my curly hair, but there wasn't much I could do about it then. When I got older I was darned glad it was curly. All you need is a great haircut. Ever notice how many women get permanents? We don't need them. With a good haircut you can wash your hair, use a little gel, comb it into the style you want, and your all set. You can't do that with straight hair.

i recommend you to go for Japanese straighteing.. they surely use chemicals but nothing damages your hair... you can stay tension free for atleast six months... you can never see your hair tangled... doesnt need any special care too.. you can wash your hair as you normally do.. worked gr8 for me...

but the worst part is.. you have to live with it for 6months.. you cant change it... as it is permanant :)

straight is the sexiest and guys like it more cuz they can play with it.

Get a hair straightner from walmart and get a good hair moisturizer. like umn. get the stuff African Americans use. that way if one day you feel like changing it up then you've still got that choice. getting it professionally straightened ALWAYS damages your hair. you'd be better off taking my advice.

You have a beautiful face, and I can picture you with straight hair. It'll look awesome! Though, the whole "professionally straightened" thingy isn't permanent and it will sort of damage your hair due to the chemicals.

Though I think you will look just great with sleek, straight hair.
