Hair problem?!?

i straighten my hair. it's naturally curly. it gets straight but not even 10 minutes later it has curled under. how do i get that pin straight hair? tons of girls have it and half of them have NATURALLY CURLY hair, which means they don't have it chemically straightened..i don't want that either.. i have a nice straightner from sallys that i just bought a few months ago. i've been through 4 since my 7th. grade year of school and i just recently graduated. they either broke/stopped heating or were crappy to begin with. i have tried dozens of products but none hold my hair straight through the day.

those girls do it..what are their secrets?

any ideas to hold the style of pin straight hair?

Hair problem?!?

make sure your hair is completely dry put heat protectant all over hair. than take a small section and spray it with redken spray starch(its a heat memory styler) and smooth with flat iron do this all over your head then spray with shine spray and light hold hair spray!!! try it maybe it will work for you. also try products that a fight humidity!!!

Hair problem?!?

After you straiten your hair take a small brush with you and don't let it get taingled.

Hair problem?!?

I wish I had a "cheap" answer for you but I too have curly hair and the only way I have found to straighten (%26amp; keep it straight) is to use a Chi flat iron. Tried every other model and it is by far the best. Get a good leave-in serum (Goldwell has a great one) dry your hair with a large, round boar hair brush to get as much of the curl relaxed as posssible and then use the flat iron on a section of air at a time. The more you run the iron over the sections of hair the straighter it becomes. Certainly not heathy for your hair but if you use it in moderation, you should be able to get the sleek style you are after.

Also....try ebay for a more affodable approach to the Chi. I bught mine for $75. Hope this helps!

Hair problem?!?

You mean a chi ceramic hair straightener? Buying a high quality one also means paying the price for it too.

They are now marketing lines of shampoos and conditioners that aid in straightening hair.

Also, Get a quality brush, and a dryer with attachments geared towards straightening the hair. Using this before you use your iron will help.

You'll have to come to terms with the fact that on very humid days, your hair is going to curl back, no matter how much you try.

Hair problem?!?

I know that my Hairdresser used a paddle brush on me and it made a big difference from the large round brush I had been using. You might try that? Also, Here are some web sites that look like they might really help you , about straightening your hair!

Good Luck!

Hair problem?!?

If you have tried everything, and your hair still reverts back, I would go to the ethnic section and buy some straightening shampoo, conditioner and styling lotion.
