Good hair cut style for curly hair?

I want to cut my hair today and I've been getting the same hair cut for the last couple of years.

Description of my hair: Very curly, like goldie locks ringlets, but maybe not quite as curly, but you know what I mean. I have dark brown hair, and it's a little passed the middle of my back. I have layers and I wear my hair up a lot. My bangs need to be able to go behind my ears.

I'm 24 almost 25 years old and I go to an art school for interior design.

I'm looking for something kinda edgy, but not crazy or looks tacky ya know. I'd like to keep it at least 2 inches passed my shoulders. I'm native, black and white, so I have brown skin, I'd compare my complexion to Halle Berry's. I have a long face and high cheek bones. I'm a little overweight, but not much, and this is something I'm working on (I know size makes a difference in what type of haircut to get...usually) So this is me in a nutshell.

Get an A-line cut. If you don't want it too short, have them cut it long because it will curl up when it's dry.

A-lines are back in style and having it wild and curly in the back looks really cute if you somewhat straighten the front. Also, I have gained a little weight late and my face is cubbier than before, so the long front down to my shoulders was a cute style.

Just an idea - if you want a change. Sounds like you have beautiful hair!!

I'm so happy you like your hair! I cut mine even shorter than the a-line but it was because I wanted to bleach my hair color and I couldn't bleach out the red I had in it, so I cut it super short and I'm growing it out to the a-line again. :-) Report It

i have dark brown curly hair also. mine is medium length and i have side bangs.
