Whats the best way for a guy with curly hair that is growing longer to style it?

What should he use in it, should he slick it back and let it hang down in front, and how should he apply it (to wet or dry hair). Does blow drying do anything?

First off, I LOVE guys with short curly hair! I would suggest:

1. Wash and condition your hair

2. Comb through your hair thoroughly while the conditioner is in

3. Lightlly towel dry it

4. Scrunch it with a mild hold moose

5. Use a diffuser to gently blow dry it while retaining your curls

I had a "poodle" like perm and after a hairstylist butchers my hair and left it uneven and SHORT, this is what I had to do to style it. It should look nice on you.
