I want to style my hair curly/wavy,.. help?!?
take 2" strips of fabric, dampen hair and put product in (gel or mousse) part hair in 10 sections wrap hair around fabric and tie in a slip knot (easy to untie). cut the foot part off an old pair of pantyhose and place over your head, go to sleep, wake up in the morning and voila! nice wavy hair

Hey what you need to do is...
1. wash your hair
2.use an anti freeze gel
3. put your hair in several different french braids until your hair dries!
vula... instant waves!
good luck :)

hair salon...trying to do it yourself sucks if you're like me. Frustrating and never turns out right. Go see one of those hair person people and let them do it.

Stay away from curling irons, get yourself hot rollers!! Fast (eventually once you get the hang of them) and easy to use. Plus I find them much easier on my hair. If you're like me and like to sleep it, it might be worth it to get the 'rapid heat' ones.
(hint: make sure the clips are shaped like old-fashioned bobby pins)

try leaving your house, they now have this thing called a hair salon, its where you pay someone to do your hair for you

Do you know how to braid..if so a really simple way is to just braid a few braids in your hair @ night..maybe put some gel in your hair and have it a little damp before you start to braid. when you wake up the next day ..take out your braids and just fingercomb your hair till you think it looks good..spray on hairspray and your done...if you do not know how to braid your hair they now have at walmart those little braiding kits that has a little hand held machine in itthat will braid it for you...also there are how to books to teach you how to fix your hair..my absolute favorite is "hairstyling for dummies" its like the best book and very simple and easy to read and understand...which is what I needed. And maybe before you start curling your hair with a hot iron you could start by using rollers..while your hair is almost dry but a tad damp and throw in a dab of gel...then curl your hair into the rollers (start with those cheap pink foam ones they are the easiest to learn on) then bolw dry your hair or wait for it to dry naturally..take out the rollers and spray a little hairspray on..finger comb to where you like it...Maybe also you could have a friend or someone show you in person...and you can always practice curling your hair w/ a curling iron while it is off and not hot till you get good at it...just keep practicing you'll find the best positions and sections for your braids and curlers and you'll be a pro in no time...

dang. i have the same problem.
well, try to learn how to use a curling iron. also try not to hurt yourself. you just wrap a chunk of hair around the hot metal part, count to five and let go. (it depends on your hair thickness)
if that doesn't work you could try braids. :] they work fine.
also, you could try the (shoot, just blanked out) things that you wrap your hair around, tie up, and leave overnight. THEY WORK BEAUTIFULLY. use a shine serum to make it look VERY pretty.
i personally recommend using the wrap around thingies. not rollers. they're like ----===----
you wrap your hair around the thick part and tie the thinner ones together. my hair never curls, but it did when i used them.
garnier fructis' hard curl gel also works well. :)
i've also heard of a cream that makes your hair curly, but i don't believe it. i'll get back to you if it's real. :]
