Unless your girlfriend was born with naturally curly hair, I don't see how she can get "permanently" curly hair now unless she

1 gets a wig

2 gets a loose, big curl perm. But, perms are not permanent. One has to get them every so often to achieve the look they are wanting.

3 has hair extensions put in that are curly.

Other than that, I think she is outta luck. Have her try a curling iron with a large barrel on it. That usually does the trick.

if i remember the process correctly...... the tightness of the curls is somewhat limited by the size of the curlers used when she gets the perm. the rest is covered by the chemicals used. so, in short, larger curlers......... but i do know someone who'd know more, i'll talk to her tomarrow, and if i'm wrong, i'll be back posting crow with the proper answer!
