I love to scrunch my hair. All you have to do is get your hair wet, put some curl shaping gel or mousse into you hair and use your hand to scunch it. It doesn't take a long time and it will stay cute all day.

I have curly hair too and I think I was the happiest when I cut it short. You should go to the salon and ask them to cut your hair into a style that is cute, flirty and looks good with curly hair. Something like these pics:
