I have thin curly hair. I got it layered.......I have it black underneath and a purpleish color on top. but I'm having issues with volume. I have a hair drier and products that are supposed to give me massive volume and theyre not working i dont know what im doing wrong. I want an edgier style...I'm looking for ideas and tips for a a kinda wild and edgy style hair just with curls...... would a shag with curly hair look really bad?! please send me pictures. :-D Thanks.

use a very strong hold mousse and tip your head upside when you blow dry.
also aim the blowdryer at the roots.
dont use alot of hairspray or wax afterwards as it will weigh down your hair.
